Education development in ethnic minority areas is an important manifestation of the realization of educational equity in China,which is related to the overall level of development of education in China.If the education in ethnic minority areas can not be fully developed,it can not be said that China has completely realized educational equity.Since the founding of New China,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to the educational development of ethnic minorities in China and implemented the principles and policies of national equality,national unity and common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups.After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee formulated and implemented the strategy of developing the western region and the major strategic plan of rejuvenating the country through science and education,which promoted the development of the northwest minority areas and gradually narrowed the development gap between the East and the west.According to official data,rural compulsory education schools in Gansu Province account for more than 80% of compulsory education schools in the whole province.Up to now,95 primary and secondary schools in Guanghe County have accelerated the construction of standardized schools at the stage of compulsory education.According to the state government's audit and evaluation,70 schools have basically met the standards,the rate of meeting the standards is 73.7%,but there are also some obvious problems,such as the phenomenon of declining indicators and the development of basic education.Unbalanced exhibition and other issues.This thesis focuses on the development of education in ethnic minority areas.Taking Guanghe County,Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province as an example,it is divided into four chapters.Firstly,starting from the research status of minority education in Western China and Gansu Province,this thesis studies and analyses the current situation and existing problems of education development in Guanghe County.The first chapter combines the national education policy of our country with the current social background,analyses the guiding ideology,basic principles and tasks of the national education policy at the present stage,and insists that the educational development in the ethnic areas of our country is always on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The second chapter elaborates the development of basic education in Guanghe County in recent years,and analyses theconcept of "national education".Chapter three discusses the problems existing in the development of education in Guanghe County,and analyses the causes of the problems,and studies the local economy,education,concepts and other aspects.Chapter IV puts forward a series of suggestions for the problems existing in the development of education in Guanghe County,based on the actual situation to find out the feasible path to solve the specific problems,and strives to further promote the development of education in Guanghe County.
