Research On The Function And Realization Of Ideological And Political Education In National Defense Education

National defense education in colleges and universities is an important part of national defense education for all in China.It is the soul backbone of national defense construction.It is also a further expansion of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Ideological and political education is the political foundation of national defense education and an essential part of national defense education.The security and development of the country are closely linked with the sense of national defense and patriotism of every college student.Young college students,as the pillars of the country,are closely linked with the rise and fall of the nation and the prosperity of the country.Xi Jinping's report at 19th CPC National Congressfurther clarified the party's goal of strengthening the armed forces in the new era.Therefore,it is more practical for colleges and universities to analyze the ideological and political education functions of national defense education from the aspects of political education,ideological education,moral education and psychological education.How to further enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in national defense education in colleges and universities has become one of the most important topics for our higher education institutions to think about further in the new era.This article insists on the position,viewpoint and method of Marxism,carries through President Xi Jinping's socialism ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,comprehensively uses research methods such as literature research method,comparative method,questionnaire survey method and individual interview method,reveals the achievements and existing problems in the ideological and political education function of national defense education in colleges and universities at present,in order to enhance its effectiveness and provide reference and recommendations.This article mainly discusses the following parts of the content.First of all,it expounds the related concepts of national defense education,ideological and political education,ideological and political education functions,ideological and political education functions of national defense education in colleges and universities,and the dialectical relationship between national defense education and ideological and political education.Secondly,it sorts out the contents of the ideological and political education function of national defense education in colleges and universities.Thirdly,the theoretical basis of realizing ideological and political education in national defense education at colleges and universities is expounded from the perspectives of Chinese Marxism on the ideas of patriotism and national defense education.Then,the author analyzes the current situation of the function of ideological and political education in national defense education in colleges and universities by using questionnaire and individual interview.There are two conclusions:First,it reveals the achievements made,including that most college students have a certain understanding of national defense education,recognize the national defense education activities carried out by higher education institutions,and think that the national defense education in universities contains a wealth of ideological and political education functions.Second,it analyzes the existing problems,that is,undergraduates'different cognition to national defense education,shortcomings in related courses,serious division of teaching staff,lack of resources in campus culture,and lack of synergy between colleges and universities.Finally,based on the above,this paper puts forward the path of realizing the ideological and political education function of national defense education in the new era,including setting up the concept of educating people,optimizing teaching system,perfecting safeguard mechanism and integrating educational resources.
