Mathematical operation is not only the direct application of mathematical formulas and rules,but also an indispensable part of mathematics learning.It directly reflects the level of mathematics,and then affects the results of mathematics learning.However,the phenomenon that the junior middle school students in the urban-rural integration area was poor in mathematical operation ability has seriously affected the effect of mathematics learning.In order to improve the junior middle school students' mathematical operation ability,teachers should try to change the teaching methods and means in class,making students be interested in mathematical operation,cultivate good operational habits,and be good at analyzing and summarizing some mathematical rules.the urban-rural integration area has its unique regional characteristics,which directly affect the cultivation of junior high school students' mathematical operation ability.Teachers should be familiar with the characteristics of students in the urban-rural integration area and have a comprehensive understanding on the situation of their physical and mental development,thus making it more pertinent to cultivate junior high school students' mathematical operation ability in the urban-rural integration area.Basing on the teaching experience of these years in the urban-rural integration area and combining with educational psychology,this paper explores how to cultivate the learning habits of junior high school students in the urban-rural integration area and help them improve their mathematical operation ability.It is hoped that this paper will be helpful to junior high school teachers in the urban-rural integration area in training junior high school student's mathematical operation ability.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and experiment.Basing on my teaching experience and continuous reflection for more than ten years,combining with this test of students mathematical operation ability,teacher-student questionnaires and interviews,the author analyses the current situation and influencing factors of junior middle school students' mathematical operation ability in the urban-rural fringe of Yiyang County,thus this paper provides a reliable basis for exploring the strategies to improve the mathematical operation ability of junior high school students in the urban-rural fringe of Yiyang County.Through investigation and research,the author finds that the present situation of junior high school students' mathematical operation ability in the urban-rural integration area is not optimistic,The main manifestations are as follows:(1)The students have a weak foundation,and their understanding for formulas and rules is inadequacy.Some students even confuse axioms and theorems,and It is common to have grandiose aims but puny abilities among the students.(2)When they see Calculation questions,they often use oral calculation,they usually write the answer directly whether it is right or wrong.Another very bad habit is that they want to find the answers from the people around them,Instead of being confident in their computational skills.(3)Teachers mainly have corresponding learning goals and tasks in each class.In order to catch up with the progress,they have to reduce or even abandon the calculation links in class.Basing on the problems found above,this paper mainly does the following work in three aspects: 1.In the teaching school where the author works,the author sent out questionnaires to eighth-grade students,collected for collation,summary and analysis,and interviewed with teachers and students.Through the above working,the author understand the current situation of junior high school students' mathematical computing ability in the urban-rural fringe of Yiyang County;2.Analyzing the factors that lead to this situation,the main influencing factors are that teachers neglect operation links and students lack checking habits.3.According to the above analysis,practical strategies are formulated and applied to the teaching of experimental research.This paper puts forward seven strategies to cultivate and improve junior high school students' mathematical operation ability in urban-rural integration area.There are three key points: first,interest is the best teacher;Second,grasp solid basic knowledge and basic skills;Third,develop good mathematical computing habits.Through the teaching practice and data analysis,the experimental results show that the proper use of effective strategies in teaching can significantly improve the mathematical operation ability of junior high school students in urban-rural integration area,and these are also effective ways to improve mathematical results.
