Mathematical operation ability, as one of the six core mathematical literacy,raised more and more people's attention in recent years.The college entrance examination has been attached great importance to the examination of students'computing ability, most of the college entrance examination questions need using mathematical operations.While senior one is the transition period and the basic stage of high school learning,so it is a critical period for training students.However,I found there are still some problems in senior high school students' mathematical operation ability. Therefore, it is very important to understand current situation of the mathematical operation ability , analyze the influence factors and put forward some corresponding teaching strategies.This paper mainly adopts the literature method, test method and analysis method.Divided into three phases: (1) according to the literature review, theory study and combined with personal teaching practice, compiled a math test paper of mathematical operation ability and a questionnaire , in order to understand the status of development level of mathematical ability of senior one students; (2) 247 high school students in Nanjing were selected as the research object, test and questionnaire survey to them; (3) to collect and collate the data, using the software of SPSS and Excel by qualitative and quantitative analysis of data, summarize the influencing factors of senior one students' mathematical ability development, and put forward the strategies of cultivating senior one students mathematical operation ability .Based on the test data analysis, draw the following conclusions: (1)senior one students' overall operation ability level needs to be improved in many middle and below the average number of failure rate is still higher; (2) A school students mathematical ability is higher than that of B, but no significant difference; (3) senior one students' mathematical ability level is nothing to do with gender.Based on the test of students' typical error analysis and research survey found: (1)students in computing the loss of a serious problem; (2) the students' understanding of the concept, formula and theorem of learning is too simple, do not understand the meaning of operation and processing; (3) has a great influence on the students'operation ability of non intellectual factors the students of mathematics problem. Such as lack of interest, students of the psychological quality and quality will be improved,the majority of students do not develop good operation habit; (4) the students operation ability of teachers' demonstration has a certain impact.According to the research conclusion, this paper proposes a method for cultivation of mathematical ability of senior high school students from the following three aspects: (1) importance of operation before the accumulated knowledge and experience, improve students' cognitive structure; (2) self monitoring attention in the process of operation,improve the mathematical operation ability; ( 3 ) attention reflection summary after the operation, strengthen the mathematical operation ability.
