| Computing ability has always been one of the three major abilities of mathematics in the past,and it occupies an extremely important position in basic education mathematics teaching.In the revised version of the high school mathematics curriculum issued by the Ministry of Education in 2020,mathematical computing is listed as the six core literacies.And in the college entrance examination,one always attaches great importance to the inspection of computing literacy,so the improvement of students’ mathematical computing ability has attracted the attention of the majority of educators,especially the graduating class teachers。 The author pay attention to this problem from the beginning of the internship,and find that quite a few students are not good at math calculations.They have various problems,such as copying errors,fear of difficulty in the calculation process,and other bad emotions.The calculation process is lengthy and skipping steps and so on.With these problems in mind,the author do classroom observation,homework correction,teacher-student communication in order to collecting materials,and through examination paper testing,questionnaire surveys,consulting literature,communicating with students,consulting instructors and other methods for how to improve high school students’ mathematics ability has been studied in depth.This article summarizes the main research questions of this article through literature review,communication with intern instructors,evaluation of students’ homework feedback,and self-reflection:(1)The level of mathematical computing ability of high school students(2)factors affecting high school students’ mathematical computing ability(3)Strategies to improve the mathematical computing ability of high school students.In response to the above research questions,this article mainly uses literature analysis,examination paper testing,questionnaires,statistical analysis,interviews and other research methods.After the test,this article get the following main conclusions:(1)The students’ computing ability is generally at an intermediate level,and the overall level can be improved(2)The computing ability of science students is slightly better than that of liberal arts students,but there is no significant difference(3)Many students do not understand the nature of mathematics for basic knowledge(4)The mental state of some students urgently needs to be improved and improved during calculations.Through the analysis of the survey results,the author believes that the main factors that affect students’ mathematical calculation ability are: non-intelligence,basic knowledge,basic skills,and quality of thinking.By drawing on the research experience of predecessors and the insights of the internship,the author proposes the following strategies:(1)According to the personality characteristics of the students,improve the psychological factors in a targeted manner(2)Firmly master the basic knowledge(3)Strengthen the training of computing ability(4)Pay attention to the improvement of students’ thinking quality,and use the above strategies to improve the reasonableness,flexibility,and simplicity of students’ calculations,in order to form good computing ability in long-term learning. |
