In recent years,Chinese and foreign scholars have paid more attention to life education.Life education of kindergarten kids is the most basic part of the whole life education system.Its purpose is to guide these children to grasp the knowledge of life at an early stage on the basis of their life characteristics and growth rules.Besides,the purpose is to teach them to experience the emotions of life.The premise of the education is their life experience,and the goal is to cultivate their attitude of respecting life and cherishing life.Moreover,they should be taught to learn to appreciate their own life and love their own life.Only in this way,they can establish sound social relationships,learn to respect each other,master simple and necessary self-protection skills and establish a correct outlook on life,and the view of the world.There are many problems in the current kindergarten life education in terms of the understanding of life education,the selection of illustrated books and the organization of teaching activities.Therefore,this study attempts to construct a feasible educational design program by using the life-education-theme illustrated book as the carrier of life education in kindergartens and carrying out practical exploration by entering kindergartens,so as to provide a reference for the practical activities of kindergarten life education.The methods of participant observation and interview have been applied in this study to conduct a practical investigation in kindergarten.Two secondary classes and one senior class of a public kindergarten in Changchun City were selected as the study object.Through the observation,interview and analysis of the case,I've explored the problems and countermeasures of developing children's life education with illustrated books.First,this paper explains the connotation of illustrated books,life education and life education of kindergarten kids.And it demonstrates the necessity and possibility of carrying out kindergarten life education with illustrated book as the carrier,and the unique values of illustrated books in kindergarten kids' life education.Secondly,I've designed a teaching plan for kindergarten kids' life education with illustrated pictures,collected illustrated books and entered kindergartens to carry out teaching activities.Applying of the methods of participant observation and interview,I've discovered the teaching problems in the process of kindergarten kids' life education with illustrated books as the carrier in the target kindergarten.The teaching problem is directed at the cause of the problem analysis.Therefore,I've analyzed causes of these problems.Thirdly,according to the characteristics of kindergarten kids' age stage and life-education-theme illustrated books and having combined existing practical experience,I've proposed improvement suggestions from aspects including kindergarten management,teacher training,home-kindergarten cooperation and teaching settings.
