On November 14,2014,the Ministry of Finance of China officially promulgated the“Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Advancing the Construction of Management Accounting System”,striving to make China's management accounting development close to or reach the world's advanced level within 5 to 10 years.With the release of the“Basic Guidelines for Management Accounting”,the demand for management accounting has increased,and it has become more and more important in enterprises.As a vocational school that directly exports professional skills to the society,it has also begun to focus on the training of management accounting talents and has successively opened the course "Management Accounting".However,students have some common phenomena in the process of this subject,such as low learning initiative,lack of interest,without motivation and inefficiency.In order to reverse students' attitude towards the study of Management Accounting and improve students' initiative and efficiency.How to improve students' learning motivation would be an important module in the teaching design process so that students can acquired knowledge is combined with its own experience to build confidence in the later learning process.In the end,in the study of Management Accounting,students with different needs have been rewarded.This is the ARCS motivation model proposed by the American psychologist Professor Keller,namely attention,relevance,confidence and satisfaction.This paper studies the ARCS motivation model and applies the ARCS motivation model to the teaching of Management Accounting in secondary vocational schools,and conducts research through the following parts:The first chapter mainly introduces the research background,research significance,research status,research methods and innovation points;The second chapter expounds the motivation,learning motivation and ARCS motivation model.The third chapter analyzes the needs of management accounting in the accounting market,the current situation of students in secondary vocational schools,the management accounting textbooks,teaching models and students' learning motivations,and draws the management accounting in secondary vocational schools.It is necessary and feasible to apply the ARCS motivation model in class;The fourth chapter,based on the ARCS motivation model,teaches the design of Management Accounting.The fifth chapter summarizes this paper and points out the shortcomings in the research and the prospects for the future.Based on the research of ARCS motivation model,this paper explores the motives of students in secondary vocational schools in the process of management accounting,and puts forward some motivation strategies for reference.I hope this article can provide reference for teachers in designing the management accounting teaching mode,and make the accounting majors of secondary vocational schools help them in their future career development through the study of Management Accounting.
