| According to a series of educational reform programs related to Vocational Education issued by the state in recent years,it shows that vocational education also needs to pay attention to the dominant position of students.It is particularly important to give full play to students’ subjective initiative,stimulate students’ learning motivation,and form a student-centered classroom teaching atmosphere.Compared with ordinary high school students,secondary vocational college students have weaker reading ability and learning enthusiasm,stronger practical ability and graphic imagination ability in cognitive characteristics.However,most of the courses of business class are theoretical knowledge displayed through words,and there are still some problems such as traditional teaching methods,low learning enthusiasm and poor teaching effect.Therefore,it is proposed to apply ARCS-based visual teaching in the courses of business major of secondary vocational schools,to study whether this method can directly display theoretical knowledge,stimulate students’ learning motivation,and improve the teaching efficiency of secondary vocational education,in order to provide some new ideas for the reform of secondary vocational education.Firstly,this study combs the related theories and research results of ARCS model and visual teaching,and understands the research status at home and abroad.Based on the literature survey of ARCS model and visual teaching,this paper investigates the current situation of visual teaching in secondary vocational business professional courses by means of questionnaire and interview,and analyzes the feasibility of visual teaching based on ARCS Model in secondary vocational business professional courses from the aspects of the feasibility of cooperation between ARCS model and visual teaching,adaptability to learning situation,and teaching implementation conditions.According to the similarity between the process of ARCS Motivation Design and the process of instructional design,the teaching design mode of visual teaching based on ARCS model is constructed.In this study,visualization tools such as scientific chart,concept map and mind map,which are easy to make and practical,are combined with motivation strategies,and teaching experiments are carried out in the courses of secondary vocational business major.According to the results of the comparative analysis of the changes of students’ learning motivation before and after teaching and the analysis of students’ satisfaction with teaching,this paper puts forward the Countermeasures for the implementation of visual teaching based on ARCS Model in secondary vocational business courses: setting up after class links based on real scenes,considering visual materials in many aspects,and improving the attention to students.Through the practice of visual teaching of business courses in secondary vocational schools based on ARCS model,students’ learning enthusiasm has been significantly improved,their understanding of textbook knowledge has been deeper,and their grasp has been more solid.Under the impetus of students’ learning drive,the learning effect has also been greatly improved. |
