| Emotional ability refers to the ability of young children to properly express and regulate their emotions based on their recognition and understanding of their own emotions.It is mainly divided into three dimensions: emotional understanding,emotional expression and emotional adjustment.Children’s emotional ability is an important branch of children’s social development.It plays an important role in the development of children’s social development and even the life of young children,and early childhood is a crucial period for the development of individual emotional ability.Relevant research has shown that it is feasible and effective to carry out emotional education for young children.Some kindergartens try to carry out emotional education activities,but mainly focus on relatively scattered emotional education activities,lacking a systematic emotional education program.Therefore,it is necessary to design a systematic and appropriate emotional ability program to promote the emotional ability of young children.This study is divided into two major parts:(1)to build a system of emotional capacity promotion programs.On the basis of existing research and related theories,construct the framework of the scheme,and design the objectives,contents and the process of implementing the activities under the framework(Study 1);(2)Validity of the test plan.The experimental design of the equal-group matching before and after measurement was used to test the effectiveness of the emotional ability promotion program from the quantitative perspective(Study 2).The first part of the study(Study 1)is based on the theory of emotional intelligence,the theory of neurocognitive development,and the characteristics of children’s emotional development.Based on the existing research,the author constructs a framework for emotional capacity promotion programs,and divides the framework into cognitive training.And the strategy training two parts,and under this framework,according to the development characteristics of emotional ability,the emotional ability program is set according to the order of emotional understanding-emotional expression-emotional adjustment.And set the corresponding activities according to the difficulty level of the content in each dimension,including the objectives,content and implementation process of the activity.The objectives include the overall goal,the phase goal and the activity goal.The appropriate activity content and rich teaching strategy are selected according to the activity goal.The implementation process includes four main links: activity introduction-interactive discussion-theme activity-sharing activity.The second part of the study(Study 2)uses the experimental design of the experimental group-control group before and after testing to test the actual promotion effect of the system’s emotional ability promotion program on the emotional ability of 4-5 years old children from a quantitative perspective.The results show that the system’s emotional ability promotion program has a positive effect on children’s emotion recognition and expression,emotional understanding and emotional adjustment ability.The systematic goal,content and diversified teaching strategies ensure the successful implementation of the emotional ability promotion program.Various strategies such as role-playing,emotional theme,and image sorting can be used to cultivate children’s emotional ability. |
