With the development of the subject core accomplishment,the geography practice is listed as the important content.More attention should be paid to the practical ability and volitional quality of contemporary students.High school students should not only master the knowledge of geography,but also have certain geographic skills and improve the volitional quality when facing problems.However,high school students are faced with the pressure of college entrance examination.How to provide high school students with an efficient practical activity to improve their geographic practical ability? Due to the nature of geography,simulation experiment,as an important learning method of geography learning,has been mentioned many times in the newly issued curriculum standard of geography in general senior high school in 2017.Strengthening the practice of geography is also the teaching suggestion put forward in the curriculum standard.Therefore,from the perspective of simulation experiment,this paper studies its role in geographic practical force training,and condenses the application strategy of simulation experiment in geographic practical force training for senior high school students.Firstly,through literature reading,the research overview of the paper is analyzed,the relevant concepts are determined,and the theoretical basis of the paper is elaborated,and the necessity of simulation experiment for the cultivation of geographic practice force is further analyzed.Secondly,by means of questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of data,this paper investigates the cognition of teachers and students on simulation experiment and geographic practice.Then,combining with my own teaching practice,this paper analyzes the teaching design of simulation experiment based on the cultivation of geographic practical ability,including the principle of simulation experiment design,the teaching content suitable for simulation experiment,the corresponding application strategy of the simulation experiment in cultivating the practical ability of geography in senior high school students is put forward.In addition,a certain number of classes were selected in the actual teaching to complete the control experiment.Conventional teaching and simulation experiment were adopted respectively.Through the analysis of students' scores and questionnaires,the evaluation results confirmed that the simulation experiment had a positive effect on the cultivation of high school students' practical ability in geography.This paper,by combining theory with practice,studies the application of simulation experiment in the training of geography practical ability of senior high school students,puts forward certain application strategies,makes research conclusions on this paper,summarizes the shortcomings of this paper and prospects for the future,so as to provide some references for senior high school geography teachers.
