In the era of rapid explosion of knowledge and rapid development of science and technology,education should not only teach students knowledge with high efficiency,but also pay more attention to cultivating students' many abilities.The“learning by doing”education concept is based on students and allows students to acquire knowledge and acquire core scientific literacy through practical activities.This thesis conducts research and analysis on relevant literatures such as knowledge learning and ability training at home and abroad,and conducts systematic research on scientific knowledge,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and scientific attitudes involved in the core literacy of scientific disciplines.Through constructivism theory,cognitive learning theory,pragmatic learning theory and inquiry learning theory,systematically,analyze and summarize,fully understand their educational concepts and guide the design of thesis project.This thesis adopts the educational concept of“learning by doing”in the elementary science curriculum and discusses four easy-to-follow inquiry learning activities.The basic in-class project of“Light Marching”design activities involve the scientific knowledge of light source,light source type,light linear transmission,etc.By questioning,discussing and experimenting in class,all students can acquire scientific knowledge,stimulate students' interest,cultivate students' questioning spirit and solve practical problems.The basic in-class project 2 "Paper and Circuit Collision" contains scientific knowledge of simple circuit and its composition,conductor and insulator.Through the classroom design,experiment and other means to cultivate the creative ability,scientific spirit and other scientific literacy of all students,and they learn to use electricity safely in daily life.The increasingly difficult extracurricular project 3 "Simple Pumping Technology to Learn the Principles of Pumping Water" activities,through extracurricular guidance to student groups to conduct data investigation,design pumps,select materials,manufacture,experiment and report,the scientific knowledge of pumping principle is acquired,andstudents' scientific literacy is cultivated by integrating the knowledge of history,humanities,art and science,technology and engineering.To improve the students' ability of summarizing and reporting and enhance their self-confidence.The extra-curricular project 4 with increasing difficulty is“Simple Night Light Technology Production and Learning Simple Circuit”,through guiding students to carry out data research,design circuit,select materials,make paper circuit,experiment,report and display,we can cultivate students' scientific literacy,such as scientific ability,environmental protection consciousness,practical ability,realistic scientific attitude and unswerving scientific spirit.The educational concept of "learning by doing" emphasizes students' subjectivity,aiming at improving the efficiency of students' acquisition of scientific knowledge,promoting students' mental development,and cultivating students' scientific literacy,such as scientific ability,questioning spirit,team spirit,scientific inquiry,self-confidence and summary and reporting ability.
