| Since the 21 st century,the demand for innovative talents has been increasing continuously.Education should not only impart knowledge,but also focus on improving students’ quality.The 2022 edition of Science Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education clearly puts forward the curriculum concept of "oriented to all students and based on literacy development".Many front-line science teachers try new teaching mode in daily teaching and achieve certain results.As a comprehensive course in primary school,Science plays an important role in the development of students.While science education in most rural schools still follows the traditional model,The author think that the Science curriculum in rural primary schools should keep pace with The Times,To explore more new teaching modes,project-based learning is a good choice.Project-based learning is a very hot topic in the field of education,which is being tried in different disciplines.It emphasizes students’ knowledge learning through teamwork in real situations and hands-on practice.This study adopts questionnaire method and interview method,to the author’s practice village primary school students in the fifth grade as the research object,during the online study at home,three rounds of project-based learning activities were carried out in combination with the subject of Science.This paper compares and analyzes the development of the core literacy of Science curriculum,namely,scientific concept,inquiry practice,scientific thinking and attitude responsibility,before and after the fifth grade students experience project-based learning activities.At the same time,after the completion of project-based learning activities,students are interviewed to assist questionnaire survey to answer the question whether project-based learning can promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy of Science curriculum.This paper summarizes experience from the practice process of project-based learning activities and puts forward suggestions for teachers to carry out project-based learning better.After three rounds of project-based learning activities,the author analyzed the questionnaire data from the four dimensions of scientific concept,inquiry practice,scientific thinking and attitude responsibility combined with the interview content.The conclusions are as follows: 1.Project-based learning deepens students’ understanding and application of scientific knowledge;2.Project-based learning improves students’ ability of inquiry and practice;3.Project-based learning stimulates students’ scientific thinking;4.Project-based learning helps students develop good attitude responsibility.At the same time,the author hopes that this study can inspire rural front-line science teachers to try to change their original traditional teaching concepts and behaviors in the future teaching.Let the science class keep pace with The Times,It helps to achieve the core quality of "Science" curriculum and make it develop into innovative talents needed in the new era.Based on the author’s three rounds of project-based learning practice experience to sum up experience,Some suggestions are put forward for teachers to better carry out project-based learning teaching:1.Make a detailed project plan before the activity;2.Strengthen communication and exchange with students individually and in teams;3.Improve the reward mechanism when completing items;4.Encourage students to make full use of network resources;5.Give full play to the supportive role of parents. |
