Research On The Intervention Of Social Work In The Protection Of Workers’ Rights And Interests

Since the implementation of the reform and opening up in the late 1970 s,a large number of rural surplus labor began to flow to the city,bringing sufficient labor force for the urban development and construction,of great significance and immeasurable effect.In recent years,the living standards of migrant workers in cities have been constantly improved,but problems such as labor conflicts,non-signing of labor contracts and industrial injuries still occur from time to time.and the most serious infringement problem is that the rights and interests of industrial injuries cannot be effectively guaranteed.This problem poses a threat to their personal safety and family harmony,seriously affects the satisfaction and sense of gain of migrant workers in the process of sharing development achievements,and seriously affects the construction of a harmonious society.The intervention of social worker can help migrant workers improve their ability to protect their rights,which is more conducive to family harmony and social stability.This paper takes migrant workers at N hospital of shenzhen as the research object,by adopting the method of survey and semi-structured interview to collect information about migrant workers industrial injury,found the problem and analyze the reasons,finally through a group of professional social work method,using the theory of empowerment and social support in the form of theory to practice to explore to solve them in the process of industrial injury rights faces many problems and difficulties,to help it improve industrial injury rights consciousness and ability.In the whole process of social work involving in the protection of workers’ rights and interests,social workers assume the role of mentors and supporters,mainly helping migrant workers with work-related injuries,learning industrial injury knowledge,linking legal aid,obtaining social support and solving difficulties.At the same time,social workers also use empathy,listening,advice and other skills to help employers and patients resolve conflicts and protect the rights and interests of migrant workers.
