"Cultural self-confidence" has become the basic national policy of our country.Inheritance and innovation of Chinese excellent traditional culture is our current major cultural strategY.Education is related to the development of the nation and the countrY.How can students achieve the common growth of ability and culture in classroom learning? This is a question worthy of consideration and solution by teachers.Teacher Y of Chengdu Paotongshu primary school has been committed to integrating traditional culture into primary school literacy teaching,and created the course of "Chinese character culture",which provides reference for the organic integration of Chinese course and traditional culture.Through case preparation,this paper objectively and detailedly presents the process of teacher Y’s exploration of Chinese character culture course and the organic integration of traditional culture into literacy teaching.Then,from the aspects of teaching methods,curriculum construction and school-based textbook development,this paper summarizes and analyzes teacher Y’s practical teaching experience and achievements of integration and penetration.It also puts forward Suggestions and expectations from the aspects of teaching evaluation and teachers’ cultural literacy.After analysis,we found that the Y teacher in Chinese culture in the course of exploration,always put the Chinese characters as the carrier of Chinese excellent traditional culture,based on the exploring behind rich cultural connotation of Chinese characters,the cultural spirit,let the students in literacy and traditional cultural quality was improved,it embodies the spirit of the language,culture,parallel teaching concept,in line with the new era of Chinese core literacy and students’ growth needs.However,due to various factors,teacher Y’s course of "Chinese character culture" still needs to be further improved,the mode of integrating traditional culture into literacy teaching needs to be further improved,and there are still many problems to be solved in promoting the course of Chinese character culture.In a word,teacher Y’s exploration opens the way for front-line teachers to independently explore the integration of Chinese curriculum and traditional culture,and its exploration experience and lessons can provide useful reference for front-line teachers.
