Place Attachment Of Migrant Youth

Globalization of the world,modern urbanization of China,the population is constantly migrant,the flow of young talent has become a reality that can not be ignored.Local attachment is an active positive attachment relationship between people and the placer.The intensity and intensity,depth and shallow of local attachment profoundly affect the emotion,attitude and behavior of people working and living in the place.This paper takes the migrant youth as the research object,under the guidance of the ecosystem theory and the local attachment theory,in order to explore the local attachment status of the migrant youth to the hometown of the outflow and the city of N:Their attachment to the two places;focusing on the use of ecosystem theory to analyze the reasons for the attachment of migrant youth to the hometown of the outflow and the city of N,the inflow of land,and to provide input for the retention of talents in the city of N and the establishment of strong local attachment by migrant youth in the city of N in the inflow area.Using qualitative research methods,the author conducted 1.5 hours of semi-structured interviews with 13 migrant youth(including 3males and 10 females),and the data analysis found that the content of local attachment of migrant youth was divided into the hometown of the outflow and the inflow of N city:First of all,the attachment content of the outflow is as follows:The migrant youth is more attached to the hometown,mainly to the past growth memory attachment;attachment to the hometown of the place(attachment to Mom and dad,grandparents,grandparents,men/girlfriends,good friends and other people and the relationship with them;accustomed to the hometown of local habits and traditional ideology and culture,Parents ' expectations of themselves,the natural bad environment and the rhythm of life in their hometown);The psychological process of attachment(based on the positive emotional experience brought to them by the previous face of the attachment content of the hometown and the place,as well as the identity of the individual's own hometown formed).Secondly,the attachment to the city of N,including attachment people(migrant youth to N City experienced many lives for the first time,such as the first time to find a job,rent,the first time to leave home to go to school,etc.);attachment to the place(informal social networks such as families,schools,work units,friends,and emerging regenerative families;enlightened policies,And intimate community civilization;modern ideology and culture such as openness,freedom,tolerance,fraternity,positive and so on,more developed economy,more abundant resources such as employment opportunities,development prospects,medical care,education,infrastructure,cultural resources,etc.).Attachment to the psychological process(based on the previous emotional experience of people,local attachment,such as joy,sense of belonging,etc.,with the city of N in the composition of the schema of the fullness and familiarity and the formation of the new N City identity cognition).In general,the common Elements of migrant youth attachment to the place of outflow and inflow are people(growth memory and first life experience),places(parents,men/girlfriends,good friends,classmates;local social and local physics),psychological processes(positive emotional experiences that occur at the local and human beings;and perceptions and attitudes towards local ideas;The frequency of the departure and patronage of the place).On this basis,it was found that migrant youth of different sexes,marital status,origin and proximity,at different stages of employment,had different local attachment to the city of N in the place of inflow.Through a comparison between the two groups of migrant youth's nostalgia for their hometown and the attraction of migrant youth in N City,as well as the identification of factors affecting the city of N through two interviews,several core factors affecting the local attachment strength of migrant youth were found:The strength of the system's sense of belonging,the absence of informal social support networks,the size and resources of the Personal wealth and future development planning.Finally,it provides advice for the establishment of strong local attachment for migrant youth and for the retention of young talent in the city of N.
