With the continuous deepening of education reform,classroom reform has been paid more and more attention by educators.Classroom is the main battlefield of education.If the classroom is unchanged,education will remain unchanged.In this context,PAD classroom teaching model,which is produced in China and has the core feature of “discussing the classroom”,has been unanimously recognized by universities and basic education workers.This study uses literature,questionnaires,observations,comparisons and other methods to study how to better apply the PAD classroom model to the junior high school geography classroom teaching,in order to change the current “full house irrigation” geography classroom to a certain extent,and improve the geography classroom teaching effect.First of all,through the domestic literature research,it is found that the application and research prospects of PAD classroom in junior high school geography teaching are very bright.Secondly,after introducing the theoretical review of this research,the questionnaire survey method and the observation method are used to understand the students' geography learning situation,the teaching results and research objects are selected based on the survey results and research theories.Finally,we will analyze the teaching effect by using questionnaire data,test data and homework assignments.Through the comparative analysis of data and homework,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)PAD classroom model and the curriculum standards encourage students to learn independently,cooperate and exchange,actively explore the basic concepts and whether they can propose geographical issues,whether they have a strong three-dimensional evaluation of geography interest,which is conducive to the implementation of compulsory education middle school geography curriculum standards;(2)although the teacher's teaching time is reduced,the students still recognize the teacher's level,PAD classroom urges the teachers to continuously improve their professional quality and reduces the teaching burden of teachers;(3)students' self-learning ability after class is developed;(4)relationship between teachers and students,between students and students is enhanced and the purpose of “teaching aids and learning to promote learning” is realized.
