Application Of Immersive Virtual Reality In Elementary School Science

Virtual reality includes desktop,distributed,immersive,enhanced four categories.This paper focuses on the immersion virtual reality,which has the practical value of solving the difficulties of knowledge,enriching teaching resources,expanding teaching form,improving learning efficiency and improving teachers’ information literacy.The combination of it and education is the display and embodiment of High-tech education,but also a symbol of modernization and informatization of educational means.In this paper,we use two kinds of exploratory and consolidated VR teaching models for the two sections of primary school science immersion VR course in Fuzhou Gulou District.By combining the methods of literature analysis,classroom observation and interview,this paper compares the application effects of VR class and non VR class and different VR teaching modes in classroom teacher-student participation,classroom management,technology application,knowledge maintenance and teacher teaching experience.The results show that immersion virtual reality is helpful to create three-dimensional situation,improve students’ active participation,attract students’attention,keep the whole discipline of the classroom,promote the use of other technologies,increase students’opportunity of exploring independently,improve knowledge retention rate and promote students’ deep learning.Among them,the exploratory VR teaching model can improve the students ’participation degree,and the consolidating VR teaching model can improve the knowledge retention rate.But the immersion virtual reality teaching also has the problem to be solved,for instance the VR link increases the classroom management difficulty,the VR learning process is difficult to leave the study "the trace",the teacher prepares a lesson time cost,the VR resource quantity is insufficient,the resource lacks the science and the plasticity and so on.The author will continue to study in the teaching work in the future,in order to promote the immersion virtual reality and teaching fusion field research contribution of humble power.
