With the promulgation of the basic academic qualities of Chinese students,experts from different subjects have respectively issued the basic academic qualities in question.The advent of basic academic qualities marks a fundamental change of educational mindset,which is bound to influence the teaching methods as well as learning modes.In this context,many scholars,educational practitioners and graduates are devoted to the exploration of how the new theory can be applied in teaching practice.This paper attempts to discuss the teaching methods and evaluation methods that enable students to accomplish in-depth learning in high school art courses.It is mainly elaborated from the following aspects:First of all,it attempts a further study of the five core qualities of art proposed by the revisionary working group of art curriculum for ordinary senior high school,in order to specify the connotations of the five core qualities and what kinds of requirements are put forward for students' art learning.This paper probes into the different learning modes of art in three different periods in China and argues that the relationship between the core qualities of art and the deep learning is that between goal and means and that between result and process.Another concern of this paper is discover possible problems that arise along with the implementation of high school art core qualities.Secondly,through literature research on the theory of deep learning,the paper attempts to grasp its connotations,characteristics and processual models and illustrate the basic approach to the application of deep learning.The paper then reiterates the indispensableness of deep learning in the cultivation of core academic qualities and argues for the importance and necessity of deep learning.Finally,based on the theories of in-depth teaching and considering the specific context of high school art curriculum,this paper explores the concrete design of in-depth learning from the aspects of teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching strategies,teaching process and teaching evaluation.The focus of this paper is the framework of high school art in-depth learning course construction based on the cultivation of core academic qualities.The paper also integrates the existing curriculum resources of high school fine arts,puts forward the case analysis of project-based integration of Chinese painting teaching,explores the rationality,feasibility and effectiveness of this mode and further studies the of art in-depth learning in order to enhance the effect of art learning and help students form the core quality of fine arts.
