Research On The Factors Affecting Students' Intention Of Agricultural Business Startups In Agricultural Vocational Colleges

In recent years,the employment of college graduates in China has aroused public concerns.The 19th congress of the communist party of China puts forward to encourag,ing entrepreneurship to create jobs.It is recommended to provide a full range of public employment services to promote college graduates,other youth groups and migrant workers get employed in multi-channels.College students' self-employment is one of the effective ways to solve the problem of college students' employment.At the same time,the development of modern agriculture can not rely on traditional farmers,and new agricultural management entities are required.College students in agriculture related colleges are important supplements.Agricultural Vocational College students' agricultural businesscan alleviate the employment difficulties of graduates in higher vocational colleges,and also can make contributions to the construction of modern agriculture.Entrepreneurial intention is the premise of entrepreneurship.In the macro environment and objective conditions of certain circumstances,the stronger agriculture related entrepreneurial intention is,the more likely students will engage in agricultural entrepreneurship practice.However,Students of Agricultural Vocational Colleges indicate insufficient entrepreneurial intention of agriculture because of subjective and objective factors.In order to promote the development of modern agriculture and the employment of college students,the researchon the factors affecting students' intention of agricultural business startups in Agricultural Vocational Colleges was carried out.The research on the influencing factors of College Students' entrepreneurial intention has just come into being.There is no consensus on the definition and measurement of agricultural entrepreneurship intention and no in-depth study has been carried out on the influencing factors of agriculture related entrepreneurial intention.Therefore,it is of important theoretical and practical significance to study the factors affecting agricultural entrepreneurship intention of Agricultural Vocational College Students.This paper selects the students of Jiangsu Polytechnic College of Agriculture and Forestry as the research object.On the base of planned behavior theory,the questionnaire was designed from three aspects:attitudes,subjective norm and perceived behavior control.Data related on the factors of entrepreneurial intention and the related influences was collected through questionnaire survey,and analyzed by using correlation analysis,independent samples t test,regression analysisand other statistical methods.The analysis results are as follows:(1)Individual background factors such as gender,professional category and family business experience make a difference to students' intention of agricultural business startups in Agricultural Vocational Colleges.The male students have stronger agricultural intentions than the female students,and the students majoring in agriculture are more interested in agriculture.Students whose families have entrepreneurial backgrounds have stronger entrepreneurial intentions than others.(2)Students of Agricultural Vocational Colleges appeared low entrepreneurial intention of agriculture.Attitudes,subjective norm and perceived behavior control show significant correlation with entrepreneurial intention in agriculture.It means that subjective factors and objective factors can influence the agriculture related entrepreneurship intention of Agricultural Vocational College Students.The subjective factors include individual attitudes,individual entrepreneurial efficacy and individual entrepreneurial ability.The objective factors include important group's attitude of agricultural business,entrepreneurial environment of agricultural market,agricultural business policy environment and financial factors.In view of the Agricultural Vocational College Students' intention of agricultural related enterprises and related influencing factors,this study suggests:(1)Aiming at the two major groups of female groups and agriculture related professional groups,we should strengthen the intention of agriculture related entrepreneurship,and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of agriculture related enterprises.(2)Govemment,schools and social organizations should work together to strengthen the attitudes of the students of agricultural vocational colleges.(3)Agriculture related business could be publicized and promoted through the guiding role of public opinion,the pioneers on agriculture related business and various social media platforms.(4)We can enhance the control of perceived behavior from two perspectives.The first oneis to enhance the students' self-efficacy in agriculture related entrepreneurship and the second is to strengthen the perceived behavior control.
