In recent years,with the deepening of the college entrance examination reform and the increase in the proportion of autonomous enrollment,China Science Olympiad is increasingly recognized by society.As one of the five competitive academic subjects,biological competition has also attracted much attention.At present,the test for China High School Biology Olympiad involve a wide range of subjects,a large number of questions,and many knowledge points.In order to understand the propositional features of the test and the development trend in recent years better,this paper analyzes the propositional features of the test of the past five years(2012-2016)by studying'"Structure and Physiology of the Zoon and Botany9" module with the methods of literature analysis,comparison and generalization.Meanwhile,this paper aims to provide suggestions for the contest instructors and future candidates by exploring their performance from the angle of difficulty index,discrimination index and reliability in the test,which are based on the scores of Fujian province's players in the test module.The preliminary conclusions are as follow:1.The scores of the"Structure and Physiology of the Zoon and Botany"module are basically in line with the examination outline(30%),and the points of knowledge covers high school biology textbook and the recommended book"Yuezeng Chen's General Biology"which accounts for about 77.30%of the all;2.There is a trend that the proportion of multiple-choice questions has gradually increased and the way of presenting questions has become more diversified;3.As for Fujian province candidates,the difficulty index of the module has gradually increased,but the discrimination index of some questions isn't so distinct.It reflects that Fujian province candidates just gain a low level of awareness about the entire biological basic knowledge system and do not master it comprehensively.In addition,the ability of interpreting data from charts and obtaining information needs to be improved.4.The reliability of this module is high,reaching above 0.90,which indicates that the result is reliable and stable and student's level can be effectively measured.According to the above,this paper proposes some suggestions,hoping it could benefit the teaching of teachers and learning of students in the future.
