The Study On The Volunteer Organization System Of Sochi And Pyeongchang Winter Olympics

The 2022 winter Olympics will be held in Beijing,the first city to host both the summer Olympics and the winter Olympics after the 2008 summer Olympics.Compared with the summer Olympic Games,the organization and management mode of the winter Olympic Games and the voluntary service system have certain reference points,but they are different after all.At present,the volunteer service foundation of winter project in China is weak,and there is no experience in either the organization and management of volunteers or the training of volunteers.As a large-scale international sports event,the winter Olympic Games requires a large number of volunteers with strong professionalism,which brings a severe test to the volunteer service system of the winter Olympic Games.With the approaching of the winter Olympic Games,it is extremely urgent to solve the problem of volunteer service.For a long time,most domestic and foreign researchers have been engaged in volunteer service research for the summer Olympic Games,while few have been engaged in volunteer service research for the winter Olympic Games,which also brings some theoretical significance to this study.Based on the 2014 Olympic winter games in Sochi and 2018 Pyeongchang organization system as the research object,using literature,expert interview method,theory and method of knowledge map two Olympic volunteer recruitment,training,security and incentive to carry on the analysis,summarizes the advantages of the first two winter Olympics volunteer organization and the insufficiency,and combined with the needs of the 2022 winter Olympic Games volunteer service in China,for the 2022 winter Olympic Games volunteer work in the organization to provide certain reference.The results show that: first,the Sochi and Pyeongchang winter Olympics have their own advantages and disadvantages in terms of volunteer registration.Sochiwinter Olympics is more reasonable in the selection of volunteers,including written tests,interviews and second interviews,and does a better job in the "best of the best" of volunteers.Second,the Sochi winter Olympic Games are more diversified in training methods.Although the Sochi winter Olympic Games and the Pyeongchang winter Olympic Games all use the Internet for training,the Pyeongchang winter Olympic Games did not test the training quality and could not guarantee the training effect.The training courses were designed well for both the Pyeongchang and Sochi games.Third,the Sochi winter Olympic Games is better than the Pyeongchang winter Olympic Games in terms of the basic living security of volunteers,such as transportation,accommodation and food.The volunteer managers of some venues of the Sochi winter Olympic Games have unbalanced incentives.The incentive forms of the Pyeongchang winter Olympic Games are more abundant,but the service quality of volunteers is more dependent on internal incentives.
