The "Juvenile Literature" magazine,which was launched in July 1953,is a literary education publication for young people of junior high school in the "17 years" literary periodicals of the Republic.It not only provides middle school students with an effective extracurricular reading space,but also a writing practice platform in the column arrangement and forum arrangement,which helps to improve their reading and writing skills.In-depth study of "Juvenile Literature" magazine,you can find,under the guidance of this reading and writing model,it has nurtured a group of outstanding writers and education frontline workers,through the analysis of educational ideas contained in the magazine,the objective of the study for the practice of extracurricular reading and writing in the "17 years" period.Including:Chinese education in the "17 years"period was deeply influenced by the background of the times,that is,through extracurricular reading,the overall ideological norms for the new generation of successors in the new era and society were established,the political function of literary reading was upheld in the first place,however,literary and aesthetic aspects have been sacrificed to a certain extent;but at the same time,the journal seeks the editorial line,which suits the psychological and literary needs of middle school students as much as possible,the active participation of the famous writers and the literary interest in famous works,which ultimately participates in nurtured the literary sentiments of teenagers during the "17 years" period.The editor of"Juvenile Literature"not only gives middle school students guidance in reading and writing,but also pays more attention to nurturing young people's literature literacy and feelings.Through the combination of reading and writing instruction,it constantly cultivates and enhances the aesthetic appreciation and creativity for them,read presses to write,motivate middle school students to write words and materials that fit the reality of life.This is in common with the concept of reading and writing education advocated in the current language currriculum standards.This paper believes that objectively evaluating the achievements of "Juvenile Literature" in the“17 years" and reflecting on the lessons learned is the matter of science research attitude.
