The Construction And Presentation Of Abstinence In The Virtual Community

Baidu "Abstain from the erotica" poster bar is an Internet organization that advocates" abstinence before marriage and post-marital abstinence" and advocates the total elimination of masturbation.This article will select this controversial virtual community as a research case.Starting from the social action theory and knowledge construction theory of phenomenological sociology,this paper will reveal the contemporary representation of abstinence in the field of the Internet and explore the knowledge construction and value orientation of this behavior.This article try to use analysis of texts,interviews and other methods in the community to collect information,trying to use these content to be able to explain the abstention of the behavior of the pattern and construction process for a detailed review.In the first chapter and the second chapter,this article introduces the history of sex culture related to abstaining erotica,and explains the action meaning of "abstaining erotica"through combing the social action theory of Schutz and Weber.The third chapter analyzes the core issues of this paper.This paper believes that the construction of abstaining behavior is divided into two links.The first link is the subjective meaning level of abstaining from the concept of embedding and abstaining from the erotica of daily life.Behavior and the abstaining knowledge system shared by the community,which provides legal support for the former and establishes social reality for the members within the community.The second link is that the society formed by the community has actually exerted influence on the members of the community and new aliens through the process of internalization,and has made them become the continuation force of the consolidation of the disqualified knowledge system.The two links complement each other,presenting itself as a kind of Circular knowledge construction model.This study hopes to provide more ideas for the study of online virtual communities through a microscopic review of this case.
