The 19 th CPC National Congress proposed that “We should fully implement the Party's education policy,foster virtue through education,enhance our students' well-rounded development,promote fairness in education,and nurture a new generation of capable young people who have a good and all-round moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetical grounding and are well-prepared to join the socialist cause.” The healthy growth of primary and secondary school students is an important goal of moral education.In the primary and secondary school stages,moral education and mental health education have their own objectives covering different educational contents.Mental health education has unique disciplinary characteristics and methods.But moral education and mental health education are not completely separate parts.In education practice,mental health education,as an important part of moral education,can consolidate the psychological basis of moral education to a certain extent,ensure the effectiveness of moral education,so as to promote the achievement of the fundamental goal of moral education.Through investigation,the author found that the current mental health education of primary and secondary schools has some prominent problems in the process of combining with the moral education,including the imperfect organization system,the shortage of professionals and the relatively single content and form.These problems leaded to the lack of mental health education in the practice of moral education in primary and secondary schools,so that the problems that appear in the primary and secondary school students cannot be solved effectively.The reasons include not only insufficient understanding of moral education and psychology,low level of teaching,but also factors such as imperfect system and mechanism,insufficient investment in schools,insufficient attention,insufficient coordination between home and school,and so on.This paper starts from the three main bodies of school,teacher and family to explore the countermeasures of the better integration of psychological health education and moral education in primary and secondary schools,so as to promote the healthy growth of primary and secondary school students.First of all,schools should improve the education mechanism of mental health,adopt scientific theories and methods for teaching activities,and set up specialized institutions as guarantees of achieving the goal of creating a good education environment.Secondly,as the main body,teachers should improve their personal and professional qualities,possess rich psychological and moral education knowledge,and implement mental health education scientifically and effectively.Thirdly,schools should popularize mental health knowledge among students.stimulate their consciousness of participation,so as to achieve the goal of pursuing a higher level of moral education.Finally,as the main body of parenting,families should take the right way to love their children,be good at applying the reward and punishment mechanism,and create a good family cultural environment to promote the formation of “home-school linkage” education mode.In addition,people from all walks of life should make joint efforts to create a good social environment for primary and secondary school students.The participation and guidance of professional institutions are of great importance to promote their healthy growth.
