Nowadays, students' mental health is attached much more importance by all walks of society, moreover ,schools are responsible for this education. Therefore school should not only be the cultural and educational field, but also the base of mental health. In school education there are so many conflicts such as relationship between morality to personality and relationship between moral education to mental health education. Both moral education and mental health education play important roles in stimulating the development of personal morality and the consummation of personality, aiming at all-round development of individual's qualities. Nevertheless these two differ in theories based, methods employed, content covered and systems operated, then result in the conflict of roles between educators of moral education and health education. Consequently, the integration of these two should be placed on an important spot, and bring the practical effects of moral education into full play.This thesis begins with stating the importance of mental health in moral education, pays much attention to the function of mental health education in moral education, discloses the relationship of mental health education to moral education and the factors affecting students' mental health, and points out how the educators of these two fields cooperate shoulder by shoulder .Ultimately the author gives some feasible instructions on how schools carry out mental health education, how we create a cultural atmosphere beneficial for students' development of body and mind, how we optimize the interrelationship of students, and how schools take some effective measures to help students grow up healthily .
