| Study travel is a comprehensive off-campus practice that combines research-based learning and travel experience,with students as the main body.It is an important way to improve students’ core competencies.With the reform of basic education in China paying more and more attention to comprehensive practical activities,primary and secondary schools in some cities are actively exploring the development and implementation of study travel.In recent years,the research on study travel has been enriched,and study travel has become a hot topic in educational reform.Study travel can cultivate students’ rational thinking,solidarity and cooperation ability,practical ability,etc.It is an effective way to implement students’ core competencies.At the same time,the primary school period is the initial stage for the cultivation of students’ character and ability.However,there are some problems in the development of study travel in primary schools.Therefore,this study investigates the implementation of study travel in primary schools,examines the implementation status of study travel in primary schools,analyzes the existing problems,and then puts forward the implementation strategies of study travel.This study mainly includes two parts: theoretical research and investigation research.The theoretical research part mainly summarizes the research status at home and abroad through literature review,determines the theoretical basis on research,and on this basis explores the connotation,characteristics,value and implementation of the research travel.Then,on the basis of theoretical research,a questionnaire is compiled to investigate the implementation of the primary school study in Shijiazhuang City from the aspects of students’ understanding of the study travel,their participation in the study travel,the implementation process of the travel,the difficulties and the solutions during the process.At the same time,an interview outline is set to interview teachers from their understanding and implementation of the study travel.The survey results show that the awareness of teachers and students on study travel needs to be improved the goal of study travel education has not been fully implemented,the theme of study travel implementation is not diversified enough,and the student evaluation work still needs to be perfected.This study proposes the following strategies.To improve the awareness of study travel and enhance the comprehensive cognition of teachers and students on study travel.To promote the standardization of study travel from two aspects: the refinement of educational goals and the development of study travel programs.To promote the diversification of evaluations on study travel through perfecting student evaluations and developing teacher evaluations. |
