In recent years,the reform of mathematics curriculum has continued to deepen.Mathematical modeling as one of the six core qualities of high school mathematics curriculum standards has gradually attracted wide attention from educators in China and abroad.The development and training of mathematical modeling ability of high school students is the top priority of experts and scholars in China.however,many investigations have found that the implementation of mathematics modeling education for high school students in China is not optimistic.Most schools are hesitantly and confused of mathematics modeling education,teachers lack mathematical literacy-related literacy and curriculum practical experience,and the mathematics modeling ability of high school students is generally at a relatively low stage.Therefore,in view of the current situation of high school students' mathematical modeling ability,it is very necessary to study the practice of mathematical modeling cases in line with the development characteristics of contemporary ordinary students' mathematical modeling ability.This article takes relevant literature as the theoretical basis,clarifies the development trend of high school mathematics modeling in China and abroad,sorts out several types of mathematics models involved in high school mathematics,investigates the development status of high school students' mathematical modeling ability,and conducts mathematical modeling cases.Based on this Practical research,put forward several ideas for the cultivation of mathematics modeling ability about high school students.Two ordinary senior high school students in Henan Province were selected as the research objects,and the self-evaluation of mathematical modeling ability was investigated from a subjective perspective through a questionnaire,and the students' five mathematical modeling ability: model hypothesis ability,model building ability,model solving ability,model Analytical capabilities and model checking capabilities are explored and analyzed,combined with objective test papers to evaluate the overall characteristics of high school students' mathematical modeling capabilities.Statistical analysis of the data shows that the development of mathematics modeling ability of the tested high school students is extremely uneven.Among them,the mathematics modeling model test ability is slightly better but still at a lower level.The model solving ability and model analysis ability are the worst;the mathematics modeling ability of high school students The overall level is generally at a lower level,and boys are slightly higher than girls,and sophomores are slightly higher than first-year students,but the difference is not obvious.According to the statistical analysis results of questionnaires and test paper scores,a mathematical modeling practice research plan is designed.Mathematics modeling experiment classes for high school students are combined with the specific tasks of mathematics teaching to carry out mathematical modeling case practice teaching work.The selection of cases is based on high school textbooks,high exam questions,Social hot issues are the main focus.Perform pretest and post-test on the experimental class and the control class before and after the practice intervention of the mathematical modeling case,comparative analysis of the pretest and post-test of the experimental class,comparative analysis of the pretest and post-test of the control class,pretest of the experimental class and the control class Analysis and post-test analysis.The results show that the practical intervention of the mathematical modeling case has a good role in promoting the development of mathematics modeling ability of high school students,and at the same time provides a certain reference for the classroom teaching of mathematical modeling in high school.
