In order to achieve education goals of establishing character and cultivating students,a new round curriculum reform of high school mathematics focused on the development of students' core of mathematics.Mathematical modeling literacy is listed as one of the six core mathematical core literacy.The students' mathematical core literacy in middle high school is another milestone in the reform of mathematics curriculum in the new era.Mathematical modeling literacy refers to a kind of ability and quality.When facing the reality problem,we can solve the problem with this mathematical thinking,and the language of mathematics.It can help us to effectively solve practical problems.Furthermore,it is very important to cultivate the mathematics training of middle school students in the middle school mathematics classroom.However,there are many questions though high school mathematical modeling activity has been advocated both inside and outside the classroom for many years.How is the high school student's mathematical modeling? What level is it?? What is the problem? In order to solve these problems,this paper takes the student who study in high school of Nanning area of Guangxi as an example to find out the current situation of the high school students' mathematical modeling literacy.I hope to offer some advice and suggestions.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire survey method,interview,literature research,observation and other research methods.First of all,it defined the basic concept of mathematical modeling literacy of the mathematical modeling knowledge,mathematical modeling ability,and mathematical modeling cognitive emotional,which are three dimensions to build mathematical construction.And then through the way of questionnaire to analyze the mathematical modeling and training of the teachers and students in the region,and through the ways of giving some test questions and in-depth interview to test the level of the students' mathematical modeling.Form those investigation we can know the current situation.And last I will put forward some ownsuggestions to promote the development of high school students' mathematical modeling.Through the investigation and study,the following conclusions are drawn: on the whole,the development of high school students' mathematics modeling literacy in the schools is not optimistic,the training situation of the schools is uneven;the students are at a low level,and the majority of students need to be helped to solve the simple problem.The gap of students in different schools and different grades is not very large.But there are some differences.For example,fresh students of high middle school are weak at mathematical modeling literacy.Students of grade 2 and 3 in senior high school have the similar level.And the first one is significantly lower than the second one.The level of mathematics modeling in the first class of school students was significantly higher than that of the second and third class students.The second and third class students had little difference in the level of mathematics modeling.Therefore,in the course of mathematical modeling,students should develop the habit of thinking about the problem by using mathematical modeling and bold contact with mathematical modeling,Students should improve their mathematical modeling literacy band build a mathematical model by discovering the problems and analyzing the problem and lastly solving the problem.
