Distance education originated from correspondence education atLondon University in 1849.It is an educational model to solve the problem of redefining the behavior of teaching and learning due to the separation of time and space.It is characterized by the separation of the two models of teaching and learning.The behaviors of teaching and learning are linked and interacted by means of network and media.After more than a century of practice and exploration,many scholars in Britain and the United States have put forward theoretical models for distance education.Starting from the initial "correspondence education model",the distance education model has successively experienced "multiple media model","distance learning model","flexible learning model" and nowadayshasdeveloped into "intelligent flexible learning model".With the rapid development of computers and networks,information processing and transmission have become an indispensable part of modern life.The theories and models of distance education have also been partially reflected in various network platforms,making distance education gradually develop into an important part of the modern education system.Different from the conventional distance education system,At present,the distance education system of special education is mainly based on policy propaganda and information inquiry,with few targeted courses,which is still far from the needs of hearing-impaired people to learn through the system platform.The existing platform is only a software operating platform,which has not yet reached the information exchange with disabled auxiliary equipment,and the interaction needs to be strengthened.In addition to the conventional information retrieval and inquiry,the existing platform still needs to be improved in functional settings such as the application of compensation equipment and the inspection of teaching results.On the basis of extensive investigations and analyses of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing special distance education system,and in combination with the concept of "intelligent and flexible learning mode" developedcurrently,this paper is focus on the research work of establishing a hearing-impaired education distance system with perfect functions and good interactivity.Starting from the requirements of the long-distance system for hearing-impaired education,applying the principles of quality management and system science,the system architecture is optimized and the system functions are improved.The platform's curriculum,hardware compensation,teaching evaluation,and database subsystem are initially established to improve the practicability of the system and the functions of the system platform.In the process of system optimization,the compensation mechanism is introduced to improve the interaction of the system by adding the perception system and virtual reality technology in combination with the latest scientific and technological achievements.In order to strengthen the practicability of the system,the feedback principle is introduced and teaching evaluation function is set up to test the quality of teaching and learning.The sign language database is integrated with pictures,characters,and videos in the database to facilitate the development of teaching.The curriculum is set according to the degree of hearing-impaired people participating in social activities.
