Teachers' practical knowledge is not only an important knowledge base for teachers' professional development,and also a necessary condition for teachers' further promotion and development.In recent years,although there are many people do research on teachers' practical knowledge,its important value has not attracted the attention of frontline teachers.This research used observation and interview methods.In order to know the status and problems in accumulation and sharing of teachers' practical knowledge,i made an in-depth investigation of frontline teachers from the aspects of teachers' understanding of practical knowledge,ways of acquiring,accumulating and sharing practical knowledge,then analyzed the reasons and put forward reasonable suggestions.This study is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the reasons of choosing this topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the literature review and makes a definition and discrimination of the core concepts.The second chapter is the design of the research.It includes the six-step research ideas from selecting research methods,entering research sites,determining research objects and research contents,collecting research materials,analyzing data and the way of presenting research texts.The third chapter is the survey results.It shows the state and the problems of accumulation and sharing practical knowledge of language teachers,and analyzes the reasons.The main problems found through the investigation are:(1)There are only a few teachers have heard of the concept of teachers' practical knowledge.(2)Teachers' understanding of the content and importance of practical knowledge is incomplete.(3)The accumulation mode of teachers' practical knowledge is single or even absent.(4)Teachers' accumulation of practical knowledge is scattered.(5)Strong willingness but poor action to share teachers' practical knowledge.(6)Teachers lack scientific norms and requirements though they have many ways to share.It also analyzes the reasons from three aspects: the training of normal students,the training of teachers after joining the profession and the teachers themselves.The fourth chapter is the comments and suggestions.It puts forward reasonablesuggestions for the accumulation and sharing teachers' practical knowledge from three aspects of education administration and scientific research departments,schools and teachers themselves according to the survey results and reasons.
