This paper mainly focuses on the integration of ‘three major cultures',which is the integration of internal organic links.Therefore,this paper firstly expounds the basic connotation and characteristics of excellent Chinese traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,and clarifies the internal basis for the integration of ‘three major cultures'.The paper analyzes the relationship among ‘three major cultures' and use the relationship analysis of highlighting key methods,respectively from the cultural source and spiritual pillar and modern innovation into three aspects,this paper discusses the Chinese excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture and an advanced socialist culture,in the position and role of the three major cultural relations.According to the cultural confidence in yourself is the main melody of contemporary cultural ideas,this paper will determine the ‘three major cultures' for cultural self-confidence to illustrate the basic dimensions,and points out that the integration is the profoundness of firm confidence of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and resisting erroneous ideological tendency of the bottom spirit,and analyzes ‘three major cultures' highlights the value of cultural self-confidence.Ideological and political education in colleges and universities is need through ‘three major cultures' to be intensified,before the practice exploration on this topic,this paper first theoretically explained the implementation ‘three major cultures',To enrich the content of the ideological and political education,clear the direction of the university students' ideological transformation,and strengthen intellectuals in the cultural construction in universities.On this basis,the practical aim of ‘three major cultures' was analyzed,and the amalgamation of the both affirmed the beginning,which is not achieved on the whole,also points out the comprehensive fusion,different fusion methods on understanding and fusion on the breadth of the depth of the problems,such as insufficient,and from the theoretical analysis of the lack of scientific,failed to overcome cognitive biases and oversimplified exist in the process of education,etc.,and the paper analyses the reasons of the problems.According to the actual situation of colleges and universities to carry out the ideological and political education,the thought of this paper is to enhance the content of ideological and political education resources development,should be emphasized ‘three major cultures' of ideological and political theory course content updates,and the embodiment of the value in each professional course,at the same time to remove the teaching content of disturbance to “three major cultures”.In order to promote the broad development of education activities in ideology and politics,the theme of education activities should be improved with the integration of ‘three major cultures',the launch of education activities should be expanded,and the level of education activities should be improved.In order to realize the optimization and improvement of the education environment of ideological politics in colleges and universities,it is necessary to create the education atmosphere of the integration of ‘three major cultures',and pay special attention to the genetic inheritance of this integration,and show the excellent results of this integration timely and fully,so as to drive the ideological politics education in colleges and universities to achieve better effectiveness.
