The Mechanism And Empirical Study On The Influence Of Social Capital On Farmers' Entrepreneurship Motivation

In the entrepreneurial activities of farmers,social capital plays a unique role because of the concentratedness of the forest area and the large dependence on the neighborhood.Therefore,this paper attempts to answer what the social capital of forest farmers in the entrepreneurial motive mechanism is,and whether it can be verified in reality.This paper analyzes the influence of government capital,neighborhood capital and family capital on the entrepreneurial motive of forest farmers,and then uses the sample data and structural equation model to test the mechanism of three kinds of social capital affecting the entrepreneurial motive of fanners in forest area.And the mediating effect of two intermediate variables-knowledge spillover and absorptive capacity is tested.The main research work and achievements of this paper are summarized as follows:First,it clarifies the mechanism of the influence of social capital on the entrepreneurial motive of farmers in forest area.Through the construction and analysis of game simulation,this paper points out that in order to achieve the expectation of farmers in the forest area,the family,the neighborhood and the government should increase the support and jointly promote the formation of the entrepreneurial motive of the farmer.Second,the impact of social capital on the entrepreneurial motivation mechanism.Through the structural equation model,it is proved that social capital has positive effect on the motivation of forest fanners.Among them,the neighborhood capital has a direct positive impact on the entrepreneurial motivation of the farmers in the forest area;the family capital and the government capital have an indirect positive effect on the entrepreneurial motive of the farmers in the forest area.Thirdly,we found the mediating effect of knowledge spillover and absorptive capacity.Through the mediator effect test,the intennediate effect of knowledge spillovers is 40%-50%,and the mediating effect of absorptive capacity is in the range of 50%-60%,which confirms that knowledge spillover and absorptive capacity play an important intermediary effect.This paper has a theoretical and practical significance for revealing the mechanism of social capital affecting the entrepreneurial motive of forest farmers,the formulation of policies related to policy departments and promoting the entrepreneurial behavior of farmers in forest areas.
