Reproductive decision-making is related to the population development strategies of the whole nation and country,so it is the focus that scholars and society pay attention to.As we all known.Family planning policy has always been an important factor affecting people's reproductive decision-making.In order to solve the new round of population problems,China began to implement a comprehensive second-child policy on January 1,2016.And this new policy reduced the policy resistance for people's R-birth decision making. However, since the liberalization of the second-child policy, many scholars have concluded that the fertility-age group's fertility intention is declining and the second-child policy is not welcome. But in the author's hometown,I found that the village has caused a small fertility boom in the past few years. Then, the traditional concept of fertility has changed in the village dominated by modernization and rationalization. What are the reasons for the villagers'^decision to R-birth?Is it the return of the traditional concept of fertility represented by male preference and multi-childity?Based on this, this study conducted an empirical study on W Village in Henan Province through in-depth interviews and participation observation methods, and try to explore farmers' R-birth decision logic making.Firstly, from the perspective of Sequential-Decision Model, this paper examines the overall fertility pattern of the village since the family planning in the background of the social transformation. And summed up the stage characteristics of R-birth decision making in the village. Therefore, the author can fully grasp the changes in the birth pattern of the village in time.Secondly,This article explains the dynamic factors of the villagers'R-birth decision making from three aspects:Two-child preference, the intensification of social risks and the looseness of social relations. At last,it analyzes the restraining conditions of the villagers'Re-birth decision making from the internal constraints and external influences. After in-depth research, this paper found that people all have Two-child preference, and a boy and a girl is the most satisfied combination of children. The farmer's decision to Re-birth is not the return of the traditional concept of fertility represented by the boy's preference and the multi-childity.Its essence is the adaptive adjustment of people's reproductive behavior under the influence of modern risk society. But in the face of the same social risks, although fertility is a good prevention strategy, some of the fertility-age groups with strong desires for two children will also be "distracted",among them, the cost of birth has shown strong inhibition in the decision-making process.
