Labor relation represents a fundamental social and economic relationship, which is an important cornerstone of economic development and social stability.Since the reform and opening up,along with the vigorous development of China's economy and the continuous optimization of industrial structure, the non-public economy has played an increasingly important role in China's economic development. However, the labor relations under the economic transition period are becoming more and more complicated, which is reflected in the fact that a single labor relationship is gradually transformed into a mixed labor relationship under multiple ownership forms, and the planned employment system is gradually becoming a contract type centered on the labor market.Employment system development. In the process of labor relations transformation, the causes, types and frequency of labor disputes are also affected by various influencing factors, which increases the difficulty of dealing with labor disputes.Under such circumstances, how to build a harmonious labor relationship and promote social and economic development is a question worth considering. With the vast territory of China, the eastern, central, western and northeastern regions have different economic development models due to different natural resource endowments, climatic conditions, geographical advantages and policy tendencies, the patterns of labor disputes in the four regions under economic transformation are more complicated, and the labor relationships are therefore different. As an area where China's economy is relatively developed and the non-public sector of the economy is developing rapidly, the labor relations in eastern region are more complex and representative than other regions. Therefore, based on the existing literature researches, this paper takes the practical significance of labor relations in the eastern part of China as the starting point, and uses the theory of labor relations system,labor-management cooperation theory, collective action theory and industrial relationship theory to analyze deeply, with the help of Sandver Model. The model uses the historical statistical yearbook to construct an empirical model of the influencing factors of labor disputes in the eastern region from 2000 to 2016 and analyzes the empirical results and draws corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. This paper starts from the status quo of the situation and handling of labor disputes, and analyzes the problems in eastern region that the large number of labor disputes, the lack of mediation ability, and the decline of the unilateral success rate and so on.This indicates that the labor disputes in the eastern region are complex and diverse.Secondly, through the selection of influential factor and the analysis of the panel data, the influencing factors with significant correlation were discussed. Finally, based on the model conclusions, the corresponding countermeasures for dealing with labor disputes in the eastern region are as follows:actively carrying out the collective wage negotiation system, reconstructing human capital investment, promoting the management of industrial injury rehabilitation systems, giving full play to the role of labor union mediations, improving the effectiveness of labor unions in handling labor disputes, improving regional and industrial labor dispute mediation mechanisms, and improving the multi-level enterprise collective bargaining system etc.
