Objective: To investigate the current situation of psychological crisis vulnerability of Undergraduates in a medical college in Wuhu and to study the influencing factors of psychological crisis vulnerability. The purpose of this study is to test the effect of group counseling on reducing the psychological crisis vulnerability of Undergraduates in medical college by using the intervention method of group counseling. Methods: A total of 1200 undergraduate students of clinical medicine, anesthesiology, nursing and insurance in a Medical College of Wuhu were selected by cluster random sampling. The research tools included general situation questionnaire, crisis vulnerability questionnaire, social support questionnaire,Eysenck personality questionnaire and so on.Data were processed or analyzed by SPSS18.0;research methods included descriptive statistics,t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis and regression analysis.Result: 1.The average score of crisis vulnerability of medical undergraduates is 10.48±4.298,and the crisis vulnerability is in the middle level.Among them,11.1% of the students scored more than 15 points on crisis vulnerability, suggesting that their psychology is very fragile. There were statistical differences between vulnerable groups with crisis vulnerability more than 15 points and normal groups with crisis vulnerability less than 15 points(P<0.01).Medical students majoring in clinical and anesthesia scored higher in psychoticism than non-medical students majoring in nursing and insurance, and lower in neuroticism than non-medical students.2.There are no statistical differences in gender, household registration type, family type and monthly living expenses of Medical College undergraduates(P>0.05),but there are statistical differences in specialty and grade(P<0.05).Among them, nursing students have the weakest crisis tolerance and sophomores have the weakest crisis tolerance.3.The scores of psychoticism and concealment of male undergraduates in medical college are lower than the norm, while the scores of introversion and extroversion and neuroticism of female students are higher than the norm.Medical College Undergraduates' personality has statistical differences in gender, specialty, grade, household registration type, family type and monthly living expenses(P<0.05).The scores of introversion and psychoticism of male students are higher than that of female students, and the scores of neuroticism of female students are higher than that of male students. The scores of psychoticism of insurance students are the lowest, while those of nursing students are the highest;the scores of introversion and extroversion of freshmen are the highest, and neuroticism of freshmen is the highest.Low,sophomores have the highest scores in psychoticism;urban students have higher scores in introversion and extroversion than rural students, and rural students have higher scores in psychoticism than urban students;students from large families have higher scores in psychoticism than core families;students whose monthly living expenses are between 0-600 and600-1200 yuan have lower scores in extroversion and extroversion than students whose monthly living expenses are between 1200-1800 yuan and 1800 yuan, and students whose monthly living expenses are between 0-600 yuan. The quality score is lower than that of students whose monthly living expenses are 600-1200 yuan and more than 1800 yuan.4.Extroversion,neuroticism,psychoticism and concealment are all significantly correlated with crisis vulnerability. The correlation coefficient between psychoticism and crisis vulnerability is the highest, while emotional stability and psychoticism are positively correlated with crisis vulnerability(r = 0.412,0.444;P< 0.01),while extroversion and concealment are negatively correlated with crisis vulnerability(r=-0.274,-0.261;P < 0.01).5.The social support level of medical college undergraduates(average score of social support is 37.83 ±6.629),slightly higher than that of Shui-yuan Xiao(average score is34.56 ±3.73).There are statistical differences in gender, specialty, grade and type of household registration among Medical College undergraduates.Girls' utilization of social support is higher than boys';insurance students' total score of social support, objective support and subjective support are the highest;freshmens' total score of social support and utilization of support are the highest, and sophomores' objective support is the lowest.Students in rural areas.6.Social support was negatively correlated with crisis vulnerability, and the order of correlation was subjective support(r=-0.302,P< 0.01),objective support(r=-0.301,P<0.01)and utilization of support(r=-0.207,P< 0.01).7.There were statistical differences in the scores of crisis vulnerability,N scale and objective support between the experimental group and the control group before and after group counseling crisis intervention(P < 0.05);there were statistical differences in the scores of crisis vulnerability and P scale between the experimental group and the control group after intervention(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.The crisis vulnerability of medical undergraduates is in the middle level;there are significant statistical differences between the crisis vulnerability group and the normal group on each scale;the psychoticism score of medical students is higher than that of non-medical students, and the neuroticism score is lower than that of non-medical students.2.Nursing majors and sophomores scored the highest in crisis vulnerability and the weakest in crisis tolerance.3.The personality of medical undergraduates has statistical differences in gender, specialty, grade, household registration type, family type and monthly living expenses.4.Emotional stability and spirituality are positively correlated with crisis vulnerability, while extroversion and concealment are negatively correlated with crisis vulnerability.5.Girls' use of support is higher than boys';insurance students' total score of social support, objective support and subjective support is the highest;new students' total score of social support and utilization of support is the highest, sophomore's score is the lowest;urban students' objective support is higher than rural students.6.Social support is negatively correlated with crisis vulnerability, and the degree of correlation is from high to low as subjective support, objective support and utilization of support.7.Psychoticism and neuroticism have significant positive predictive effects on crisis vulnerability, while introversion and extroversion, total score of social support and objective support have significant negative predictive effects on crisis vulnerability.8.Group counseling effectively reduces the scores of crisis vulnerability of medical undergraduates;increases the objective support of medical undergraduates;improves the spiritual characteristics of medical undergraduates;stabilizes the emotions of medical undergraduates to a certain extent. In a word, professional, grade, personality and social support have a certain impact on the psychological crisis vulnerability of Medical College undergraduates.Group counseling has a significant intervention effect on students with weak psychological crisis tolerance.
