Harmonious relationship between teachers and students can create a favorable learning atmosphere,which exerts significant influence on achieving student's learning outcome,teacher's own value and their educational objectives.The basic task of high school political education course is to strengthen moral education and cultivate people,and its primary purpose aims at fostering their socialist core values,with which high school students can establish correct political orientation and improve key competence in the discipline of ideology and politics.It is unique,and therefore harmonious relationship between teachers and students is required so that these courses can be understood and remembered by students,which can be truly loved by them and benefits them for lifelong.In recent years,conflicts between teachers and students which were frequently reported by the media have triggered extensive discussion of the society.Our attention must be paid on these matters even though they are not the trend in the development of relationship between teachers and students.We need to intensify studies to provide theoretical support for building up harmonious relationship between teachers and students in political education course of high school.Chinese education thought and western educational thought provide rich resources of ideas for the study of the harmonious relationship between teachers and students,and act as a positive reference for the study of this topic.With research methods of questionnaire survey and interview,problems such as inequality,certain conflicts and risks,and low frequency of interaction have been found in therelationship between students and teachers in political education course of high school.The disharmony is mainly caused by three factors-students,teachers and school.From the perspective of student,main reasons are enhanced self-awareness and prominent psychological inversion.From the perspective of teachers,causes are overwhelmed pressure of teaching profession,deficient quality of teachers,and view of relations between teachers and students still remains at the traditional level.From the perspective of school,problems have been found such as lack of interaction channel between families and school and school's single evaluation mechanism.For these existing issues,efforts and improvements can be made on enhancing respect between students and teachers,renewing ideas of students and teachers,exploring ways for the communication between students and teachers,deepening their relationships,caring for teachers and paying close attention to the development of teachers,creating harmonious school environment and other aspects so as to build up harmonious relationship between teachers and students in politics courses of high school.
