"Birds of a feather flock together".When the teacher group is formed,each member of the group will automatically classify themselves,generate group psychology,generate group behavior,and achieve depersonalize without losing self-features.The identity of novice male teachers in primary schools is special,complex and marginal.Therefore,the process of depersonalization in self-categorization theory to provide new research ideas for explaining the professional growth of novice male teachers in primary schools.This paper will study the influencing factors of professional development of novice male teachers in primary schools using the perspective of self-categorization.It explores how individuals adjust their knowledge,feelings,intentions and actions under the influence of specific situations and groups,and improve their professional competence,optimize their professional knowledge,realize socialization and achieve professional growth in continuous learning and interaction.Using a case study method,four novice male teachers in primary schools were selected as research subjects.Borrowing the depersonalization process mentioned in John Turner's self-categorization theory as a research perspective,the typical cases are carried out from five dimensions: social stereotyping,cooperation and altruism,emotional contagion and empathy,Social influence processes,collective action to detailed analysis.Through the collation,presentation and analysis of the novice male teachers' stories in the primary school,the research found that: First,as far as social stereotyping is concerned,The professional role of the novice male teacher in primary school is influenced by the evaluation of the community and the understanding of the teacher's teaching style.Second,as far as cooperation and altruism are concerned,the novice male teachers in primary schools are consciously influenced by the initiative to participate in the Qing-lan project,class management,and the subject,and produce altruistic behavior in the process of cooperation.Third,As far as emotional contagion and empathy are concerned,the professional sentiment of the novice male teachers in the primary school is affected by the emotions of the members of the office group,the understanding of the individual members of the group and the natureof the work.Fourth,as far as social influence is concerned,the attitude of novice male teachers in the primary school is influenced by school norms and important role models.Fifth,as far as collective action is concerned,the professional behavior of novice male teachers in primary schools is affected by their presence at collective meetings and trade union activities.In response to the above five dimensions,the corresponding strategies for the new male teachers in primary schools are proposed: breaking stereotypes and shaping professional roles;strengthening cooperation and altruism,activating professional consciousness;making skillful use of emotional infection and empathy,fostering professional affection;influence,correct professional attitude;focus on collective action and strengthen professional behavior.
