According to the research needs,this paper synthetically chooses a variety of research methods,including literature,data statistics,comparative analysis and questionnaires,etc.,and takes the teachers and students in Fujian and Taiwan universities,especially in Jimei University and Taipei Institute of Physical Education as the subjects of investigation.Under the background of educational reform and vigorous implementation of the traditional sports culture of the Chinese nation itself,this paper makes a study from the perspectives of carrying out the traditional sports culture of China,reforming and optimizing the curriculum,strengthening the attention of students and teachers to the traditional sports culture,and enhancing the international influence of folk sports.Through the analysis of the current situation of folk sports in Fujian and Taiwanese universities,some conclusions are made:(1)Through the analysis of the current situation of folk sports in Fujian and Taiwan In Fujian and Taiwan,there are some policies on the development of folk sports in Colleges and universities,but there are differences in the management system and policy promulgation between the two places.(2)Through the research on the actual development of folk sports in Jimei University and Taipei Institute of Physical Education and the teachers' strength,it is found that the curriculum development of the two universities is still insufficient,and the teachers' strength of folk sports is seriously insufficient compared with other technical subjects.(3)By investigating the students of Jimei University's College of Physical Education and Taipei College of Physical Education respectively,this paper compares the differences of folk sports between the two places,as well as students' understanding,participation motivation and ways of participation.(4)Through the field investigation and comparative analysis of the venues and equipment of the two schools,it is found that there are still many problems in the development of folk sports in schools,mainly the lack of diversity of equipment.(5)Through the comparative study of the curriculum settings of folk sports in the two universities,it is understood that the development of folk sports curriculum in Jimei University College of Physical Education is the teacher's independent participation of students.Compared with the curriculum syllabus of Taipei Institute of Physical Education,there are some shortcomings in the arrangement of folk sports.(6)From the point of view of folk sports,Taipei Institute of Physical Education has more complete projects,reflecting the promotion of the school,so Jimei University College of Physical Education should increase curriculum development.(7)Enlightenment and suggestions for the development of folk sports in Colleges and universities in Fujian and Taiwan: the government needs to strengthen support;improve the training methods of folk sports teachers in both places,and construct the mode of sharing and exchanging teachers between Fujian and Taiwan;build the mode of students' folk sports exchange during winter and summer vacation;strengthen the function development and flexible use of folk sports-related equipment;and further analyze and explore the existing folk sports.Promote orderly development;set up a variety of folk sports courses and continue to optimize;enhance the impact of folk sports in Colleges and universities in both places.Fujian and Taiwan folk sports are the traditional national heritage of our country.In order to enable them to better develop and inherit in the two universities,many scholars have carried out relevant research.This paper also aims at this,and further create more space for exchanges and cooperation for the education and sports of the two universities,enriching school-based curriculum.
