The curriculum standards of general high school geography(2017 edition)clearly puts forward that regional cognitive literacy is one of the four core qualities of geography,which is one of the core qualities that must be learned by contemporary high school students,and also one of the subject qualities that must be achieved in the study of geography.The new era and new characteristics of the requirements for talent has been improved,the development of research activities can better cultivate students with all-round development.There are geographical things with regional characteristics in each region.Curriculum development in different regions will be beneficial for students to observe and comprehend the geographical environment characteristics and the relationship between them and human activities in postgraduate activities,so as to better improve their regional cognitive ability.However,due to the pressure of college entrance examination and entrance examination indicators in high school geography classes,most teachers in China have quite heavy teaching tasks,which are not enough to realize the importance of leading students out of school and cultivating their regional cognitive literacy.This paper focuses on the cultivation of regional cognitive literacy of high school students in Nanchang city.This paper discusses the background,research significance,domestic and foreign research status,research ideas.Define research accomplishment,the concept of learning activities,regional cognition,and illustrates the constituent elements of regional cognitive qualities including regional location,regional characteristics,regional relations,regional development and regional concept,elaborated this article studies the main theoretical foundation includes the theory of constructivism,the life education theory and modern curriculum theory,laid the theoretical basis of the research;Taking Nanchang city as an example,the status quo of the regional cognitive literacy of high school students in Nanchang city was investigated and analyzed through questionnaire survey and interview.In view of the current situation of regional awareness literacy cultivation in senior high school,according to the analysis of geography curriculum standards,local research resources and learning situation,the design process of research activities is proposed,including the selection of research topics,the implementation of pre-school preparation,the formulation of research activities and the summary and evaluation of research activities.This paper designs and applies the corresponding research activity scheme from the dimensions of location theory,spatial structure theory and regional analysis and prediction.Through the feedback of the implementation effect of research activities,it can be seen that research activities can cultivate students' regional cognitive literacy,improve their learning interest and cultivate their comprehensive quality.Research activities need to be constantly explored and improved in teaching practice,so as to fully realize the value of geography teaching of research activities from the perspective of regional cognitive literacy.
