The number of primary and middle school students in rural areas in China accounts for 75% of the total number of primary and middle school students.The education of rural students depends directly on the professional level of rural teachers.The implementation of the “National Training Program” is to improve the overall quality of teachers,especially rural primary and secondary school teachers.This thesis consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,the purpose of the research,the significance of the research and the ideas and methods of the research.The second part is the literature review.On the basis of the relevant literature,the research contents of rural teachers,junior high school mathematics teachers,national training programs,and teacher professional development are summarized.The third part is the core part of this thesis.Taking the “National Training Program” of Xinyang Normal College from 2010 to2015,the training teacher of the rural junior middle school mathematics teacher training program in Henan Province was used as the research object,and the questionnaire survey was used to conduct a questionnaire survey.The research is carried out in one aspect: the basic situation of the teachers who participated in the training;the training needs of the teachers who participated in the training;the training effect of the teachers who participated in the training;the fourth part is the research conclusions and suggestions for the optimization of the teacher training to promote the professional development of teachers.The research results show that the professional development of rural junior middle school mathematics teachers has problems such as low academic qualifications,poor scientific research ability,insufficient professional level and poor practical ability.And through the training of teachers' professional ability and professional knowledge has been improved,the educational concept has been updated,but the research capacity improvement effect is not significant,this training is morehelpful to the professional development of teachers.Therefore,rural junior high school mathematics teachers should strengthen their own scientific research awareness and develop the habit of teaching reflection;training units should improve the training needs survey system and set up effective training courses;the government should provide a good platform and opportunities for teacher training,and the school should respond to teachers.Training provides support and encouragement,and the society should create a good public opinion atmosphere for the professional development of teachers.These are all conducive to promoting the professional development of teachers,improving the quality of education,and thus promoting education reform.
