The idea of "building blocks" is widely used in social life and production.This kind of thinking is applied to the manufacture of large-scale heavy equipment,the construction of large-scale projects,the production of small building blocks of children's building blocks,and so on.Even LEGO toys that are popular all over the world are typical puzzle building blocks.Based on the reference,this paper explores the application of the idea of "building blocks" in teaching.The topic surrounding the research is divided into four parts,five chapters.The first part is the question,starting from the physical core literacy,combining the teaching practice to determine the research content,analyzing the feasibility and research significance of the research program.The second part is the content of the second chapter and the third chapter.The main content is that the characteristics of "building blocks" summarized by the typical example of the process of "building blocks" in life production are from the whole to zero and from zero to the whole.The essence of summarizing the "building block" process is the construction process from zero to the whole,thus defining the core concept of "building blocks".The building blocks are classified into "tangible building blocks" and "invisible building blocks",and the two ways of integrating "building blocks" into middle school physics teaching are elaborated – the physical construction of "tangible building blocks" and the thinking construction of "invisible building blocks".The third part is the fourth chapter.Three teaching cases are selected,and the"building blocks" thoughts elaborated in the third part are integrated into the two teaching methods of middle school physics teaching to conduct practical research onteaching cases,and the conclusions are summarized and analyzed.The fourth part is the summary of the fifth chapter,expounding the innovation points and shortcomings of the research and the research content of the " building blocks" thought in the follow-up teaching.Through research,I believe that the application of "building blocks" thought can effectively train thinking,exercise the brain and explore new knowledge in teaching,especially for cultivating the "Scientific thinking" and "Scientific inquiry" in the core literacy of middle school students.
