Research Of American Registered Apprenticeship

The United States is the most developed country in the world,and its rapid economic development is inseparable from the strong support of its vocational education.American Registered apprenticeship is a characteristic education model of its vocational education.It has been continuously reforming and innovating in the development of more than 70 years,forming a unique operating mechanism and also achieving certain results,but it also faces some urgent problems to be solved.In May2014,the State Council issued the “Decision on Accelerating the Development of Modern Vocational Education”,which marked that the modern apprenticeship system has become an important strategy for the development of human resources in the country.As of 2018,China has established more than 500 modern apprenticeship pilot units,and its scale has continued to expand.This research uses literature research,comparative research,historical research and other research methods to start from the historical development,operational mechanism,reform measures and effectiveness of the registered apprenticeship system in the United States,through the exploration and study of the development of the US registered apprenticeship system,and case studies.Analyze and summarize the successful experience of the US registered apprenticeship system,and then provide reference suggestions and countermeasures for the smooth development of the modern apprenticeship pilot program in China.This article is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly defines the core concept of the thesis,explains the research background,research status,main research contents,research purpose and significance of the thesis,and introduces the research methods and research ideas.The second part combs the development history of American registered apprenticeship from a historical perspective,and expounds the social background and reform measures of the development of American registered apprenticeship system.The third part summarizes the operational mechanism of the US registered apprenticeship system,including a sound legal mechanism,a sound managementmechanism,a continuous funding mechanism,and an implementation and training mechanism.The fourth part specifically describes how the US registered apprenticeship is implemented in Massachusetts,including the implementation and training of apprentices,stakeholders,capital investment,and sound laws and regulations.The fifth part mainly analyzes the effectiveness and problems of the registered apprenticeship system in the United States,affirms its advantages and finds the inadequacies,and takes its essence.The sixth part proposes a feasible plan for the implementation of the modern apprenticeship pilot program from the macro level,including improving the relevant modern apprenticeship laws and regulations,establishing a complete apprenticeship management system,increasing capital investment in the apprenticeship system,and strengthening the enterprise.Participation and other aspects.Finally,the insufficiency of this study and the recommendations for future research are pointed out in the conclusion.
