The teaching theory of "learning by doing" was first put forward by Dewey,a famous American educator,pragmatic philosopher,psychologist and sociologist.It is a deduction made by Dewey from the perspective of pragmatism philosophy and based on the theory of pragmatism and morality.Meanwhile,the teaching theory of "learning by doing" is also an important teaching theory summarized by Dewey from his own experience and years of teaching experience.In recent years,the "learning by doing" teaching theory both abroad and domestic education teaching reform,it has gradually become a continuous focus on the development direction,especially under the background of new curriculum reform in China,many links need to change the traditional teaching mode,thus become "learning by doing" teaching theory.Ideological and political course is a course with a special nature,both moral and intellectual education,although each discipline has a certain degree of moral education task,but ideological and political course has other disciplines can not be compared in the moral education of the advantages and guiding significance.From the definition of the new curriculum standard,the high school ideological and political course is a comprehensive,ideological,humanistic and practical education course with the core of the basic marxist point of view education.Ideological and political course is a course that closely combines the education of basic marxist knowledge with the education of political thought and moral quality through setting up special courses,and practicality is one of the most remarkable and basic characteristics of marxist philosophy.From the point of view of dialectical materialism epistemology,the practice is the foundation of understanding,in particular,practice is the source of knowledge,is the purpose of understanding,is the power to promote the development of knowledge,and is the sole criterion for testing knowledge correctly or not,rich practical experience is the source of the authenticity of the scientific theory,and the formation of students' ideology and moral character also need on the basis of social practice.Therefore,it is the essential requirement of marxist theory to integrate Dewey's "learning by doing" teaching theory into the teaching of ideological and political courses in senior high school in accordance with its own reality.It is in line with the nature and characteristics of ideological and political disciplines,students' cognitive needs and cognitive laws,and conducive to the free and comprehensive development of students.The main objective of this study was based on Dewey's theory of "learning by doing" teaching more detailed elaboration,and on this basis,combining with the current domestic education background and high school thought political lesson teaching present situation and the existing problems in the teaching process about enlightenment,and then apply to the practical teaching design,so as to promote the high school thought political lesson efficiency improvement.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly analyzes the background of this paper,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research ideas,research methods,research difficulties and innovation points.The second part is the interpretation of the basic theory.This part mainly USES the literature analysis method to elaborate the theoretical connotation of Dewey's "learning by doing" teaching theory in detail,laying a theoretical foundation for the following content.The third part is the necessity and importance of the application of Dewey's "learning by doing" teaching theory.It mainly discusses the current situation of domestic middle school ideological and political courses and the existing problems in the teaching process by using the survey method,expert interview method and literature analysis method.Based on the first and second parts,the fourth part summarizes the enlightenment of Dewey's "learning by doing" teaching theory to the ideological and political teaching in middle school.The fifth part,based on the enlightenment of the fourth part,USES the case analysis method to discuss how Dewey's "learning by doing" teaching theory can be applied in the ideological and political teaching of middle schools.It mainly takes gu 'an no.1 middle school,where I work as a volunteer teacher,as an example to carry out specific teaching design and teaching improvement.
