Wushu routine students majoring in traditional ethnic sports are the successors and carriers of Chinese excellent traditional culture and traditional sports culture.With the change of the times,people’s demand for spiritual culture is constantly increasing.The traditional Chinese culture represented by Wushu is facing a new task of innovation and development in the new cultural background.Cultivating the ability of Wushu routines for students majoring in national traditional sports has become one of the key contents at present.Formative evaluation is one of the teaching evaluation methods commonly used in education and teaching.It has the characteristics of timeliness,wholeness,comprehensiveness and so on.It can discover the problems existing in students’ learning in time.Based on the theory of formative evaluation and taking the students majoring in Wushu routines of ethnic traditional sports as the research object,this paper studies the cultivation of Wushu creative ability of students majoring in Wushu routines of ethnic traditional sports by using scientific methods such as documentation,questionnaire,comparative experiment,expert evaluation,data analysis and logical reasoning.The following conclusions are drawn:1.To cultivate students’ ability to create Wushu routines,the evaluation criteria should follow the principles of objectivity,comprehensiveness,process and easy operation,and be evaluated from five first-level indicators: theme,sense of boxing,style of fighting,material and aesthetics.2.In the process of cultivating students’ ability of creating Wushu routines for biography majors,according to the characteristics of formative evaluation,classroom teaching is carried out by using the teaching mode of two-way information feedback from teachers and students,and five stages,namely,skill reserve stage,creation and assistance stage,creation and deepening stage,creation and cultivation stage and creation and promotion stage,are better teaching and evaluation units.To stimulate students’ interest in learning,enhance their understanding of the meaning of offensive and defensive actions and the theory of creation,and cultivate team spirit and creative ability.3.At present,Wushu College of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education lacks a systematic course to train students’ ability of Wushu routine creation because of the influence of factors such as learning conditions and heavy teaching tasks.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out relevant teaching activities to cultivate students’ ability of Wushu routine creation.4.To cultivate the creative ability of Wushu for students majoring in biography is of great significance in stimulating students’ creative thinking and consciousness,adapting to the realistic needs of the development of Wushu in the new era,cultivating students’ interest in learning,cultivating students’ team spirit,and realizing the connotative development of Wushu education.5.According to the characteristics of formative evaluation and the results of teaching practice,it is considered that the personalized evaluation characteristics of formative evaluation are the source of stimulating students’ ability to create Wushu routines,that the multiple evaluation subjects are the motive force to stimulate students’ subjective thinking in the creation of Wushu routines,and that the evaluation perspective of multi-angle,wide field and whole process is the multiplier of students’ ability to create Wushu routines.On the basis of the above conclusions,it is proposed that we should attach importance to the requirements of the development of the times for students’ ability to create martial arts,update the teaching contents and means in time,pay attention to the diversified ways of teaching evaluation,give reasonable evaluation according to students’ conditions,attach importance to the ability to create,cultivate students’ multiple abilities,attach importance to students’ creative practice,and enhance students’ comprehensive quality of martial arts.Suggestion.
