Objectives:The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of the influence on young teenagers'physical fitness which made by one year-campus football training and traditional PE class with the method of fitness tests.The results of this study will provide reference for teachers and coaches to improve football training methods,also according to choose the students who had better physical fitness performance,it will be beneficial to selecting athletes.Methods:This study used the methods of literature consultation,experimental research method and mathemat:ical statistics.260 grade six students which in the same primary school were randomized into two groups,the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group was trained with campus football training program whicjh the control group was trained with the traditional PE class.Before and after one year training,cardiopulmonary function testing,abdominal muscle strength testing,abdominal flexibility testing and the speed test were measured respectively by specific methods.An independent t-test was applied to each variable(within group and between group).Statistical significance was set at P<0.05.Results:In the cardiopulmonary function test,the lower resting heart rate was found after one year campus football training than before(p<0.05).Also the higher vital capacity was found after one year campus football training than before(p<0.05).What's more,the higher vital capacity was also found for expreimental group campared to the control group after one year training(p<0.05).The results of abdominal muscle strength testing show that the experimental group did more situps after one year campus football training (p<0.05).Also the expreimental ogroup did more situps campared to the control group after one year training(p<0.05).In the abdominal flexibility testing,the experimental group performed better"crook before the seat body "after one year campus football training(p<0.05).In the speed performance test,the experimental group performed more quicker in the 50 meter race after one year campus football training than before(p<0.05).Conclusions:Differencese exists between the influence on young teenagers' physical fitness which made by one year-campus football training and traditional PE class.Campus football training had positive influence on teenagers' physical fitness.What's more,after one year campus football training subjects showed better vital capacity and abdominal muscle strength compared to those who took one year traditional PE class.
