Fitness trainers are the backbone of a health club as they coach so many clients that their competencies are directly connected with the teaching level of the health club as well as improvements in clients'physical fitness.While clients'satisfaction is closely related with the survival and profits of a health club.This paper will get to know the status quo of competencies of fitness trainers in health clubs in Fuzhou and clients'satisfaction with the help of questionnaires to have a quantitative analysis of the data.Gi'ven that there are few researches on competencies of group coaches and clients'satisfaction as well as on their relations,this paper attempts to explore differences in competencies of group coaches and clients'satisfaction under different circumstances and their internal relations through correlation analysis and regression analysis.The conclusions of this study are:1 Fuzhou fitness club fitness trainers' competency level overall in the average level,competency average score is higher,close to"basically corresponds"level,there is a big development potential and space.Each competency dimension score exists differences,of which professional skills and personal charisma score is higher,which of two dimensions in professional knowledge and monitor and instruction at the lowest.2 Fitness trainers from different background exist competence ability,embodied in:no significant difference in competence ability were found among the different gender,different professional background or different age level;while the different degree,different job specification,different entire period of actual operation exist significant differences.3 The fitness club holds the high levels of clients'satisfaction,the total score also in compliance with the"basically corresponds"level,which still has the space to be improved.On other dimensions,the customer effect on brand image,service,environment facilities in the overall average satisfaction is above 4,and in the satisfaction of the overall project quality is relatively low.4 The differences in clients'satisfaction also affected by their different background,manifest as:different ages affect less;While gender,degree of education,the level of monthly income have significant influence.5 There is a significant positive correlation in multiple dimensions between fitness trainers'competency and clients'satisfaction,expressed in:fitness trainers'competency in seven dimensions positively correlates with effect of service customer satisfaction.Professional skills,personal charm,direct monitoring,communication and cooperation,a sense of achievement significant positive correlated with brand image;Professional knowledge,professional skills,personal charm,direct monitoring,communication and cooperation,a sense of accomplishment significant positive correlated with the project quality;Professional skills,personal charm,communication and cooperation significant positive correlated with facilities.Overall embodied in:The coaches holds the higher competence,they holds the better clients'satisfaction.6 The return effect of the clients' satisfaction caused by fitness trainers competency has been significant,its probability value in seven dimensions are less than 0.05,the basic regression equation are also significant,fitness trainers competency can be a good prediction of clients'satisfaction.
