Purpose:To investigate the effect of core training on core muscle strength,dynamic balance and plantar pressure on general people with functional ankle instability.Methods:24 general people with functional ankle instability were selected into our experiment finally by network publicity,poster and social recruitment,they were randomly divided into three groups:core training group(n=8)by their gender,ankle exercises group(n=8)and blank control group(n=8).core training group was trained with core training and ankle exercises;ankle exercises group was trained with ankle exercises and walking exercise having same heartrate with ankle exercises;blank control group had no training,three times per week and six weeks in total.Evaluated the strength of core area,the ability of dynamic balance and the plantar pressure with Torsoline core strength test systom,SEBT and LorAn plantar pressure test systom respectively before and after 6-week intervention.Results:After 6 weeks:(1)core strength:flexion muscle strength,extension muscle st rength,left lateral flexion muscle strength,right lateral flexion muscle strength,lef t rotation muscle strength and right rotation muscle strength had significantly i ncrease in the core training group(P<0.01);(2)SEBT:Direction A?AL?L?PL?P?PM?M and AM had significant increase in the core training group(P<0.01);As a whole,there was no difference among the three groups before training;After training,the core training group and ankle exercises group had significant increase compared to the blank group;core training group was better than the ankle exercises group;(3)Plantar pressure: For the land area,area M1,M5,MF and MH had significant increase(P < 0.05)in the core training group;area M5,MF and MH had significant increase(P<0.05)in the ankle exercises group;there has no difference in all area of the blank group(p>0.05).For the plantar force,area T1,M5 and LH had significant increase(P<0.05)area and M1 had very huge increase(P<0.01)in the core training group;there had no difference in the ankle exercises group and the blank group(p>0.05).As a whole,there was no difference among the three groups before training;After training,the core training group and ankle exercises group had significant increase compared to the blank group;but there was no difference between the core training group and the ankle exercises group.Conclusion:(1)The 6-week core training improves the strength of core area with all directions;(2)The ankle exercises have obvious improvement on the dynamic balance on people with functional ankle instability,but the combination of core training and ankle exercises is better.
