Chinese teaching in Bulgaria has a long history.With the development of China and the promotion of the "One Belt.One Road" project,more and more Bulgarians are learning Chinese.The quantity of Chinese teachers required is increasing,and the backgrounds of teachers are becoming more and more complicated.Some of the teaching points of the Sofia Confucius Institute are just have volunteer teachers.Some teaching points.especially where Chinese is the compulsory course,might have both Bulgarian teacher and the public teachers or volunteer teachers due to the many tasks,and some even have three kinds of teachers to teach Chinese.What is the influence of the backgrounds of teachers of Chinese teaching?What is the attitude of the students?In addition to the background of the mother tongue and teaching experience,what kind of other backgrounds such as educational background would make difference?In addition to teaching skills,what else differences have the teachers of different backgrounds?As one of the earliest countries to which China sent Chinese teachers,Bulgaria does not have much research on local Chinese teaching.The comprehensive study of the background of Chinese teachers is completely absent.I intend do thisBulgaria 18th Middle School is a representative teaching point of the Sofia Confucius Institute.During my teaching period,there were 3 local teachers,1 public teacher and 1 volunteer teacher.The background characteristics of them have both commonality and difference.which is conducive to the research.In this study,eight Chinese teachers who have been taught in the past three years have been studied.Through questionnaires,classroom observations and interviews,they have examined their teaching situation,attitudes and participation in extra-curricular activities besides teaching,with the intention of helping different backgrounds.And according to that,I would make some suggestions on teachers' further development and cooperation of teachers in teaching.event organization and so on.I may also provide some suggestions for improvement in the training and distribution of Chinese teachers.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the background,methods and objects of the research.The second chapter is a literature review about teacher background research.The third chapter shows the results of observation and survey about teachers of Chinese in 18th middle school,compares the teaching behaviors,attitudes and participation to relative activities,and found the the similarities and differences of teachers with different background in professional knowledge,teaching practice and attitudes and participation in cultural activities.HSK test and so on.The fourth chapter analyzes the background factors of teachers which cause these differences,and finds that the background of mother tongue,educational background,teaching experience and so on have great influence.In addition,other background such as age may have certain influence,and there are some problems and some commonalities.The fifth chapter puts forward a series of suggestions aimed at promoting the development and cooperation of teachers of different backgrounds,such as expanding their theoretical knowledge reserves;learning from each other to improve teaching level,and deepening cooperation in various aspects.It also puts forward requirements for the school's arrangement and system guarantee for Chinese teachers.At the same time,it is suggested that Hanban should increase the training of local teachers and should be more appropriate according to the target teaching environment and object when selecting and assigning Chinese teachers.I hope that the research can provide guidance for teachers who are going to teach Chinese in Bulgarian primary and secondary schools,and make some effort for the development of Chinese language teaching in Bulgaria.
