The area activities in the kindergarten are crucial organizational forms in terms of curricula,which positively exerts an effect on children's study and development.In order to comprehend the current instructing status in implementing area activities,ascertain elements in affecting teachers' guidance in this aspect,and research strategies on the effectiveness of promoting teachers' instruction as well,the writer of this thesis selects a provincial demonstrative kindergarten as her subject,utilizing literature research,observational method of event-sampling,text analysis and interview methodology and encoding teachers' instructing cases of area activities,thus to understand the practical conditions of teachers' instructing frequencies,approaches,orientations,natures,characters and so on,exploring their influences and pondering coping strategies.After the case study,the writer of this thesis discovers that when executing guidance in area activities,most teachers in this kindergarten are capable of providing children with a comfortable and free environment,emphasizing the acquaintance of children's willingness,interacting with an attitude of respect and peace,which facilitates children's study and development to a certain extent.Simultaneously,the writer also realizes some problems that exist in teachers,guidance in the aspects of excessively high frequency,relatively short period,unbalanced guiding areas,monotonous teachers' characters,giving too much priority to consequence over procedure and spending too much time in leading and sharing.Based on the analysis on problems and influences,the writer presents effective suggestions on how to enhance teachers'guidance in the area activities on the levels of kindergarten's supervision and teachers themselves.
