Basketball is a widely loved sport for people who like sports.Basketball is also the main teaching item in the physical education of high vocational colleges.At present,basketball classes are mostly taught in traditional ways in higher vocational colleges.Teachers occupy the principle status in the class.The way of practices for students is single and dull.In the classroom where the teaching object is girl-students,due to the physiological and psychological characteristics of girl-students and the antagonistic nature of basketball programs,the technical movements are more complex.It makes the teaching effect of girl-students in higher vocational college less than ideal,and the enthusiasm of students in class is not high.So,the author applied the task-based teaching approach to the basketball class for girl-students in high vocational school.In the process of teaching,the teacher respects the dominant position of students.The role of the teacher shifts from a lecturer to a guider,organizer,and also a participant in the classroom.The teacher plays a leading role in the classroom and design tasks reasonably.Students are driven by the tasks and analyze tasks and complete tasks under the guidance of teachers.At the same time,students are encouraged to master knowledge and improve skills of self-learning so that they can find out problems and solve problems.It can improve the current situation of passive learning for students and inspire students' interests in basketball class learning.Finally,it will improve the quality of teaching.This study combines the current situation of basketball courses in higher vocational colleges,referring to the previous research on task-based teaching approach.The research object is 60 junior girl-students in basketball class from Shijiazhuang Railway Vocational and Technical College.The study adopts documentary analysis method,expert interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and experimental methods.In the case of ensuring that the experimental subjects,the experimental environment,and the class time maintain basic consistency,the author conducted a 14-week teaching experiment.After the experiment,the measured data and questionnaire data were compared and analyzed.The purpose is to examine the impact of task-based teaching approach on the students and teaching effect in the basketball class of girl-students in high vocational college.(1)The experimental results show that,after the experiment,the body quality test indicators have improved.However,the improvement in the bounce quality test is not very obvious.There were no significant differences between the experimental class and the control class.Their strength,sensitivity,speed quality test scores to increased by a large margin.Moreover,the test scores of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class.There were significant differences.From the results of experiment,we can clearly see that both the task-based teaching approach and traditional teaching method can improve the physical quality of girl-students in higher vocational schools.The two methods cannot greatly improve the quality of bounce in short-term teaching time.However,the task-based teaching approach can make greater improvement in the physical fitness of girl-students in higher vocational schools.(2)Comparing with the basketball technical test and technical scores for students in the experimental and control classes before and after the experiment,the pre-experimental data shows that the students in the two classes have poor basketball base and there is no significant difference in the basic skills of basketball between the two classes.However the data measured after the experiment shows that basic techniques such as dribbling,passing,and pitching have improved for experimental classes and control classes.And the basic skills of the basketball in the experimental class are higher than the control class,the test scores of the two classes were significantly differen.From the results of experiment,we can clearly see that task-based teaching approach and traditional teaching method can improve the physical quality of girl-students in higher vocational schools.But the task-based teaching approach can make greater improvement in the physical fitness of girl-students in higher vocational schools.It made girl-students of the higher vocational girls to master more higher standardization of basketball technical movements.(3)The average score of the basketball course in the experimental class that adopted the task-based teaching approach is high.The average score of control class is low.Obviously,the basketball score in the experimental class is higher than the basketball score in the control class.There are obvious differences between the two basketball classes.The experimental results show that,the task-based teaching approach can greatly improve the basketball skill of girl-students in high vocational school.(4)The task-driven teaching method can effectively improve students' interest in learning basketball,learn the confidence level of basketball,change the motivation of studentsto learn basketball,increase the time for students to practice basketball after school,enhance students' sense of cooperation,and improve students' learning attitude.
